Olivia Harrison (5/18/1948, Taurus Rat), George Harrison (2/25/1943, Pisces Sheep) : The musician (founding member of The Beatles) and author/film producer were married from 1978 until George Harrison died in 2001. They had one child. In the documentary film, George Harrison: Living in the Material World (2011), Olivia described: "I thought [George] was really somebody who was saying something that I connected with. Their work together includes the TV shows, Saturday Night Live (1975-present), and 30 Rock (2006-2013), and the films, Martin & Orloff (2002), Sisters (2015), and Wine Country (2019). Presenting Fey with the PEN/Mike Nichols Writing for Performance Award in 2023, Dratch said, "Tina, I will say this. If I had one wish for you tonight, it would be that you had written this speech I am giving in your honor. It would be far wittier and, let’s face it, your speech would probably be turned into a Broadway play that could then become a movie that could in turn be a musical and then a movie musical and then back into a Broadway play and then into an avant garde performance piece downtown. [It would]…make you laugh out loud, it would include some sort of social satire, probably with a feminist bent that would make you say YES! LADY POWER!! But nothing cringey, you would be belly-laughing and maybe not even realize you had learned something about society along the way."

Sally Hawkins (4/27/1976, Taurus Dragon), Rafe Spall (3/10/1983, Pisces Pig) : The two actors share a strong friendship, and have collaborated multiple times, including the film A Brilliant Young Mind [or X+Y] (2014), and a stage production of Constellations (2012). Hawkins described in 2015: "That's when it's as good as it can get, when you're with someone that you love and you really respect as an actor and that you can really trust and just do anything, really. That's what makes a difference when you're watching a film, you notice that and there's a truth to it...[Spall and I know know each other so well] it's like a code, a language...When an audience sees Rafe arrive they know he's going to make them laugh in some way or care about him in some way. They have collaborated multiple times, dating back to Jamón Jamón (1992) when Cruz was 16, including the further films, Live Flesh (1997), Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), Loving Pablo (2017), The Counselor (2013), and Everybody Knows (2018). Though for the most part they have avoided discussing their relationship in public, in 2017 Bardem said, "It was easy working with Penélope. She is a great actress and we can always challenge one another to go farther, deeper, bigger and smaller. She can immediately tell what I’m doing; where I’m going. We know how to play with each other and try different things. All it takes is a little look, or a word here and there. So we pushed each other to be more daring... That confidence that we have in each other is a great thing."

Krist Novoselic (5/16/1965, Taurus Snake), Kurt Cobain (2/20/1967, Pisces Sheep) : The two musicians grew up in the town of Aberdeen, Seattle, and together founded the band Nirvana in 1987. Novoselic described in 2009, "We would just lock ourselves away. We would practice every day, and we’d be really serious about rehearsing. We would play over and over and over, and we would develop things...Kurt, he was the genesis of it. He was a true artist. He could have done sculptures; he could have been a painter; he could have been a comic book cartoonist, and he chose to make music a priority...One thing that Kurt would do is when he’d arrange a tune he’d tend to drive the riff into the ground. And so I would come in and say, 'Well, we need to do that riff half as long. Or here’s the structure, verse-chorus-verse, this and that.' Which was all basically Beatles, which was Tin Pan Alley...So it’s just basically like listening to so much music for so long, I wasn’t inventing anything. I was just kind of putting it into this traditional format, or suggesting that we do it."

Jodie Foster (11/19/1962, Scorpio Tiger), Alexandra Hedison (7/10/1969, Cancer Rooster) : The actor and photographer have been married since 2014. Though the couple are famously private, after Foster was nominated for a Golden Globe for The Mauritanian (2021), Hedison posted a photo with the caption: "What happens in quarantine stays in quarantine. Rebecca Miller (9/15/1962, Virgo Tiger), Daniel Day-Lewis (4/29/1957, Taurus Rooster) : The actor and filmmaker/novelist have been married since 1996 and have two children. Though they have rarely discussed their relationship publicly, Miller mentioned in a 2018 interview that she had refused to allow the famously method-acting Day-Lewis to stay in character at home: "I was just like, 'That’s not going to happen.' It’s good to at least maintain one personality for your child." She also referred to a recent trip to their home in Ireland: "[W]e went and got hot whiskeys in a pub in Ireland. And we walked up a mountain and then we got our hot whiskeys and then we got our scones with cream. That’s the kind of thing of just simplicity and fun."

Miles Davis (5/26/1926, Gemini Tiger), Quincy Jones (3/14/1933, Pisces Rooster) : The jazz icon and music producer were longtime friends who collaborated on Davis' final live performance, later released as Miles & Quincy Live at Montreux (1993). The concert marked the first and only time Davis ever revisited music from his back catalogue. Jones described: "I had been trying for 15 years to get him to do that. I've known Miles all my life, we were close friends; I was there in the recording session in 1958 when they did Miles Ahead (1958) with Gil Evans conducting—it was amazing. I said, 'Dewey, this one we've got to do a tribute to.' We kept talking and talking, we were at his home in Central Park West—he was upstairs with Flavor Flav putting an album together—he says 'man this [project] is going to be expensive... and it's hard to play.' Finally, I got him to say yes—I know Miles—and it was fantastic. Man, he played very softly, with no vibrato or anything. That night, I waved and said 'Miles Davis' [to the crowd] and he waved his towel at this audience—I've never seen him do that before—and he growled 'screw you' at me."

Mel Brooks (6/28/1926, Cancer Tiger), David Lynch (1/20/1946, Aquarius Rooster) : The producer and director formed a famously unlikely partnership when they collaborated to make Lynch's script into the award-winning film, The Elephant Man (1980). Speaking about an early meeting, Brooks described: "I wasn't expecting [Lynch] to be so polite, but I was rather impressed. He made sense and was very savvy about the changes he wanted. It was a problem: how does a guy who is known for the best fart jokes in cinema go on to make The Elephant Man? I had all along the line assiduously kept my name from the project. But after this one conversation, David knew I had more to me. I guess it was the outsider aspect that appealed to him. And that's where I think we met, mentally." Lynch said later: "[Brooks] backed me in ways you can’t imagine — people wanted to change this, do this, give me all kinds of hell — never would Mel let it happen...It put me on the map, it was a great experience…it was just a blessing!"

Queen Elizabeth II (4/21/1926, Taurus Tiger), Prince Philip (6/10/1921, Gemini Rooster) : The Queen and Prince Philip were married for 73 years until his death in 2021. According to a report in The Guardian, published when their engagement was announced in 1947: "It is clearly a marriage of choice, not of arrangement...There have been many royal engagements in the past, but it would be hard to find a precise parallel for that of an Heiress Presumptive and still more for her choice as partner of one who is, technically at least, a British commoner."

Marilyn Monroe (6/1/1926, Gemini Tiger), Yves Montand (10/13/1921, Libra Rooster) : The two actors had a well-publicized affair during the making of one of Monroe's last films, Let's Make Love (1960). Montand later described: "[Marilyn] had an immense character, an extremely strong nature—even though, in life as on the screen, she had that little girl voice. The fascination she exercised and her seductive power were present almost without her knowing it...She had no need to check the seam of her stocking to give you ideas: when she talked about the rain or the fine weather or the cafeteria menu, she had the same power...Marilyn was a being apart, in the sense that it was her own inner light that drove her into the spotlight.
