In Johnson's 2009 book, When the Game was Ours, he admitted working behind the scenes to keep Thomas out of the 1992 United States Olympics "Dream Team", because he believed Thomas had been spreading rumours about his sexuality after his HIV diagnosis. The two reconciled in 2017, with Johnson saying, "You are my brother. Let me apologize if I hurt you, that we haven’t been together and God is good to bring us back together."

Meg White (12/10/1974, Sagittarius Tiger), Jack White (7/9/1975, Cancer Rabbit) : For many years, the two-piece band The White Stripes (1997-2011) presented themselves as brother and sister, until it was discovered that they had been married from 1996 to 2000. Though Jack White was usually regarded as the band's driving force before their break-up, he has emphasized Meg's critical contribution: "I would often look at her onstage and say, 'I can't believe she's up here.'
