Kevin Smith (8/2/1970, Leo Dog), Ben Affleck (8/15/1972, Leo Rat) : The director and actor were frequent collaborators in the 1990s, working together on movies including Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma. After a period of estrangement, they reunited for Jay and Silent Bob Reboot in 2019. Smith has recounted: "I was scared to be rejected, but I texted [Affleck], 'To paraphrase the sad old King Osric in Conan the Barbarian? Russell (8/20/1958, Leo Dog) : The actor and director have collaborated multiple times to great acclaim, including the movies, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and Joy. In a joint interview/conversation, Lawrence said to O'Russell: "I was so young and inexperienced. By the time I got to you, you shaped me. Watching our movies, everything I’ve learned, I’ve taken through my entire career. I was so amazed by you, and just open. You wrote it and I’d do it and you’d tell me how to do it better." O'Russell replied: "You showed up as a raw talent with no neurosis and no self-consciousness. She was completely fearless...She has a certain energy that hasn’t been in movies in a while. Young and old and loose and powerful and focused. You walk in 20 minutes into the movie and you take over the movie."

Laurence Fishburne (7/30/1961, Leo Ox), Angela Bassett (8/16/1958, Leo Dog) : The two actors have been widely praised for their collaborations, which include the films, Boyz n the Hood (1991), What's Love Got To Do With It (1993), and Akeelah and the Bee (2006), as well as a stage production of Fences. Fishburne has described: "I don’t know how to explain it. The word that people use is ‘chemistry,’ that Angela and I just have a chemistry that is undeniable and innate. But I think it is really born out of the fact that we both love what we do. And when we come together, we make room for each other to really, really use all of our abilities and all of our talents. We complement each other."

Natasha Henstridge (8/15/1974, Leo Tiger), Darius Campbell Danesh (8/19/1980, Leo Monkey) : The actor and singer were involved in an on-off relationship for around 12 years in total from 2004 to 2016, and for a time co-parented Henstridge's two children from a previous relationship. Danesh, who died tragically at 41 in August 2022, described after their break-up: "It was a long distance relationship for half of it. That in itself was an amazing experience, but a painful one. When you love someone you want to be with them...So I have nothing but gratitude for this relationship. And we'll be there for one another if the chips are down."

Antonio Banderas (8/10/1960, Leo Rat), Melanie Griffith (8/9/1957, Leo Rooster) : The two actors were married from 1996 to 2015. They had a daughter together and helped to raise Griffiths' two children from previous marriages. Speaking after their divorce, Banderas said: "Melanie is not my wife anymore, but I think she is my best friend. I love her and will love her until the day I die. She’s my family."

Sean Penn (8/17/1960, Leo Rat), Madonna (8/16/1958, Leo Dog) : The singer-songwriter and actor were famously married for four years during the 1980s. In recent times they have both spoken fondly of one another. In 2016, Madonna attended Penn's Help Haiti Home Gala, saying, "I want to say [to] Sean that I loved you from the moment that I laid eyes on you. And I still love you just the same." Interviewed in 2018, Penn said simply, "I love my first wife very much."

Alison Krauss (7/23/1971, Leo Pig), Robert Plant (8/20/1948, Leo Rat) : The two singers—Plant a founding member of rock band Led Zeppelin and Krauss a celebrated bluegrass singer—teamed up for the multi-platinum, Grammy-winning album Raising Sand in 2007. They reunited for the album Raise the Roof in 2021. Speaking of their original collaboration, Plant described: "We've got our own individual strengths, and it's a miracle that they can ever meld. But they do. In the beginning it was difficult, because I wasn't used to being tutored and, 'Why don't you do it like this?' And I just thought, 'Oh, baby!' Still, I like it. I like the idea of learning new stuff… I felt so much more accomplished when it started to work good."

Ivana Trump (2/20/1949, Pisces Ox), Donald Trump (6/14/1946, Gemini Dog) : The real estate developer and future US President were married from 1977 to 1992 and had three children. In a 2017 interview, Ivana described: "Donald gave me all the opportunity to go and prove myself. I built the Commander Hotel. I built the Trump Tower. Then Donald [sent] me to Atlantic City, and I was flying at 8 in the morning after breakfast with the kids to Atlantic City on the helicopter. I think that Donald supports the woman. He loves the woman. Always did. He definitely respected women."

Meryl Streep (6/22/1949, Cancer Ox), Don Gummer (12/12/1946, Sagittarius Dog) : The celebrated actor and visual artist were together for around 45 years after they married in 1978. They have four children. Streep described in 2019: "Teamwork is everything. My husband Don was … very involved. He was a little more relaxed when it comes to raising kids. I was more of a tiger mom. When my son Henry was little, he wanted to learn to play the piano but the teacher we hired was not very good, and Henry lost interest. I thought he should continue to take lessons, but my husband thought it was my dream that I was trying to impose on him. Today, my son is 37 and he's a musician. Tigermom Meryl was right."

Angela Lansbury (10/16/1925, Libra Ox), Bea Arthur (5/13/1922, Taurus Dog) : The two actors formed a close and lasting friendship when they acted together in 1965. In a speech inducting Arthur into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 2008, Lansbury said: "[S]peaking of Bea and me, I think I can say in all honesty that we have enjoyed each other’s company in  so many ways above and beyond the make believe of theater and television. I know what a shy and retiring person she is at heart. Warren Beatty (3/30/1937, Aries Ox), Madonna (8/16/1958, Leo Dog) : The superstar actor and musician dated around the time they co-starred in Dick Tracy, and have remained complimentary about one another. Beattie said in 2016: "[Madonna] is a huge personality, diligent and disciplined and a spectacular dancer and performer. She’s a phenomenon."

Kate Moss (1/16/1974, Capricorn Ox), Naomi Campbell (5/22/1970, Gemini Dog) : The two supermodels have maintained a close friendship since they were teenagers. Campbell has written: "Kate and I have seen each other through the good and the bad. Kate has stood by me through it all...[W]e’ve learned to resolve issues one-on-one, we don’t let anyone else get involved. We don’t have to speak every day but we have a connection...She’s very intuitive, very instinctive. She might not tell you she’s noticed something straight away but she doesn’t miss a beat. Martin Amis (8/25/1949, Virgo Ox), Kingsley Amis (4/16/1922, Aries Dog) : The two writers provide one of the few if any cases where both father and child have become celebrated novelists, though their styles are starkly different. Martin Amis has described their relationship: "[Kingsley] was brilliantly indolent: he never gave me any encouragement at all...I think [The Rachel Papers, Martin's first book] was the last novel of mine he read all the way through...[For] subsequent books, he read about twenty pages and then gave up. It took a bit of getting used to, this, because you felt it as a son and as a fellow writer...I would much rather revise upward my opinion of a friend’s book than endanger a friendship.
