Leo Dragon and Scorpio Sheep

James Cameron (8/16/1954, Leo Horse), Gale Anne Hurd (10/25/1955, Scorpio Sheep) : Film director Cameron and producer Hurd shared a noteworthy collaborative relationship, and were married from 1985 to 1989. Before their marriage, they worked on The Terminator (1984), for which they also both wrote the script. They made Aliens (1986) while they were together, and The Abyss (1989) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) during and after their break-up. Cameron described in 1986: "We don’t always get along. There’s always creative dialog. I know this movie [Aliens] would not have been possible to do, as you saw it, within the budget parameters, if we hadn’t made such a good team. McCarthy said in 2021, "Even Prince Charming and the fairy tale doesn’t come without work. I loved him so much as soon as I met him, I was like, ‘How do I not mess this up? I’m going to ask him, before we even have our first fight, if we can go to therapy together.'"

Melinda French Gates (8/15/1964, Leo Dragon), Bill Gates (10/28/1955, Scorpio Sheep) : Microsoft founder Bill Gates and computer scientist/philanthropist Melinda Gates met in 1987, and were married from 1994 to 2021. They have three children. Their charitable foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was the second largest charitable organization in the world in 2020. In 2019, Melinda Gates said, "I think people have a certain view of Bill, because he was a high-charging CEO running Microsoft. I think people must think, 'Oh well, Melinda must not really have equality with Bill.' Actually, I have total equality with Bill. But it took a while for us to get there." Around the same time, Bill was quoted as saying, "Working together as well as raising a family together, there’s a certain intensity to that. But we’re very lucky because we mostly see things the same way, the goals are very much the same."

Merritt Wever (8/11/1980, Leo Monkey), Toni Collette (11/1/1972, Scorpio Rat) : The two actors formed a close connection when they collaborated on the successful and award-winning miniseries, Unbelievable (2019). Collette described, "[Our rapport] was very easy and just felt natural, you know? We didn't have to reach too far to make it feel authentic...it is [a] really important story, and I think every human should watch it." Wever said, "[Collette is] someone whose body of work is part of my artistic makeup and DNA...I actually accidentally quoted Muriel’s Wedding to her face one day, and thought she was gonna think I was the biggest dork. Instead, she received it with like, great affection and forgiveness and patience. I got to tell Muriel, 'You’re terrible, Muriel.' And you know what? David Crosby (8/14/1941, Leo Snake), Neil Young (11/12/1945, Scorpio Rooster) : The two musicians formed part of the on-again, off-again supergroup, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Their album, Déjà Vu (1970), remains the most successful for each of the four members. Young and Crosby shared a famously at times fraught relationship. In 2014, Crosby described Young's partner Daryl Hannah as, "a purely poisonous predator." Young responded, "I wish [Crosby] the best with his life. There’s love there. There’s just nothing else there." After Crosby died in early 2023, Young wrote: "David’s voice and energy were at the heart of our band. His great songs stood for what we believed in and it was always fun and exciting when we got to play together...We had so many great times, especially in the early years. Crosby was a very supportive friend in my early life, as we bit off big pieces of our experience together. David was the catalyst of many things."

Arnold Schwarzenegger (7/30/1947, Leo Pig), Lou Ferrigno (11/9/1951, Scorpio Rabbit) : The two bodybuilders shared an iconic rivalry, recorded in the cult classic documentary film, Pumping Iron (1977). The film is famous in part for showcasing Schwarzenegger's legendary "psych-out" tactics against Ferrigno. Ferrigno said later, "My only regret was that I was planning and hoped to reach my full potential and beat Arnold because he was five years older, but I never got that chance...The way I look at it, it didn’t matter if I won, [it] didn’t matter if I lost. It was all about reaching out to the mainstream and educating the public on what bodybuilding really is." Pumping Iron is generally credited with having springboarded both Ferrigno and Schwarzenegger to highly successful and lucrative careers in Hollywood.

Reese Witherspoon (3/22/1976, Aries Dragon), Nicole Kidman (6/20/1967, Gemini Sheep) : The two actors are friends who co-starred in the successful series, Big Little Lies (2017-2019). Presenting Kidman with the Tribute Actress Award at the Gotham Awards in 2017, Witherspoon described: "[L]ast year, you guys, I was really lucky. I got the chance to work with [Kidman], finally. I managed also to coerce my line producer to make sure I was in the same makeup trailer with her at all times while she was getting ready so I could ask her anything I wanted to. She was captive for two hours and I asked her a lot of questions...I’ve worked in Hollywood for 25 years and I’ve never seen anyone transform so completely [into their role]...She gives you her whole heart, her whole soul, her whole body. Carlos Moyá (8/27/1976, Virgo Dragon), Carolina Cerezuela (1/14/1980, Capricorn Sheep) : The professonal tennis player and Spanish actor married in 2011 and have three children together. Cerezuela has described: "For me, the success and wealth of my life has been having what I have always wanted, my family, and being able to dedicate myself to them...[Moya] is achieving wonderful professional successes, but he will tell you that his greatest achievement is always personal. He is very jealous of his privacy, very simple, you will never see him wanting to stand out or acknowledging merit. [translated from Spanish]"

Carice van Houten (9/5/1976, Virgo Dragon), Guy Pearce (10/5/1967, Libra Sheep) : The two actors have been in a relationship since around 2015. They have one child. The couple have avoided discussing their relationship publicly, but in 2016, Pearce posted photos of himself with van Houten and their child, with the caption: "Finally a nice quiet stroll out in the world."

James Coburn (8/31/1928, Virgo Dragon), Paula Murad Coburn (10/31/1955, Scorpio Sheep) : The two actors were married from 1993 until his death in 2002. Together they established the James and Paula Coburn Foundation, dedicated to improving the community through music, art and education. Speaking about their five-storey home in Beverley Hills, California, US, the designer Craig Wright said: "The house is a stage set. It's about their friends and the things they've found on their travels. It's the theater of their life."

Colin Farrell (5/31/1976, Gemini Dragon), Brendan Gleeson (3/29/1955, Aries Sheep) : The two Irish actors became good friends after they co-starred in the film, In Bruges (2008). They later collaborated in The Banshees of Inisherin (2022), with both being nominated for Academy Awards. In a joint interview, Farrell described about their first meeting: "I was sober about a year and a half or something like that...[Gleeson] said, 'Will you have a drink?’… and he went to a mini bar that looked like it hadn’t worked since the ‘50s and he opened it up and he pulled out two bottles of water and he went: ‘I have still or sparkling’. I swear to God, it was the sweetest thing. In that moment, the simplicity of that gesture told me, 'There’s a man that will look after you. There’s a man that will take care of you, there’s a man that considers people'." Gleeson said, "I’ve known a lot of kind men in my life, I’ve been lucky about that. My father was a kind man, and I knew kind friends who were there for you. I don’t find it odd but I knew immediately with [Farrell]. That’s why the friendship lasted. He’s somebody who considers people to an extraordinary degree."

Colin Friels (9/25/1952, Libra Dragon), Judy Davis (4/23/1955, Taurus Sheep) : The two Australian actors have been married since 1984 and have two children together. In 2018, Friels said, "I don't like to be sycophantic, but Judy's wonderful. She's great company, the best friend I've ever had. I love Jude. She's a bewdy."

Herbie Hancock (4/12/1940, Aries Dragon), Joni Mitchell (11/7/1943, Scorpio Sheep) : The two musicians are friends who collaborated on Mitchell's albums, Mingus (1979), and Both Sides Now (2000). Hancock's tribute album, River: The Joni Letters (2007), which comprised mostly Mitchell's compositions and to which she also contributed as a singer, was a surprise winner of the Grammy for Album of the Year in 2008. Mitchell described about their shared background: "We have the same problem from two different approaches. [Hancock] was going too far into pop and I was going too far into jazz. They accused him of commercialism and me like if you do that we're going to lose sales. [With the River album,] I guess Herbie found this challenging to do my music. Harmonically it's wide like jazz, so you got a lot of freedom for choice of notes ... but it's not within the laws of jazz." Hancock said: "[Mitchell] has the courage to express what she really feels and believes in. She's not afraid to openly voice her viewpoint on the crises of the era ... and she does it in such a beautiful and imaginative way. ... And so as a humanitarian, Joni Mitchell really reflects her belief in the dignity of human life and its relationship to our environment."

Courtney Love (7/9/1964, Cancer Dragon), Kurt Cobain (2/20/1967, Pisces Sheep) : The two celebrated rock musicians were famously married for almost two years before Cobain died in 1994. They had one child. In a 1992 interview, Love described: "[Cobain] thought I was too demanding, attention-wise. He thought I was obnoxious. I had to go out of my way to impress him."
