Virgo Snake and Virgo Tiger

Sam Esmail (9/17/1977, Virgo Snake), Emmy Rossum (9/12/1986, Virgo Tiger) : The producer/director and actor married in 2017 and have a daughter together. Esmail proposed by writing a mock story for the New York Times. Rossum later described: "I began to read the article, and the story is about a director who falls in love with an actress, and I started to think: Huh, that’s strange. And then I realized that it was our love story."

Adam Sandler (9/9/1966, Virgo Horse), Dennis Dugan (9/5/1946, Virgo Dog) : The actor and director have made nine films together, including Happy Gilmore (1996), Big Daddy (1999), I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007), You Don't Mess With the Zohan (2008), Grown Ups (2010), and Grown Ups 2 (2013). At the beginning of their relationship, Dugan tried multiple times without success to cast Sandler in the movie, Brain Donors (1992). After Brain Donors disappointed at the box office, Dugan went to work in TV, then later tried to break back into movies by applying to direct Happy Gilmore (1996). He later described: "[At the meeting] Sandler goes, ‘You!’ And I go, ‘You!’ … He said, ‘You stuck up for me, so you’re doing this movie.'"

John Ritter (9/17/1948, Virgo Rat), Amy Yasbeck (9/12/1962, Virgo Tiger) : The two actors were married from 1999 until Ritter's tragic death in 2003. They had one child, and were also frequent collaborators. Yasbeck described in 2022: "[Ritter] was an excellent person to have on a set and when anybody who's an actor, including me, says, 'Hey, you remind me of John Ritter, how you talk to that camera person or how you're relating with the guest stars,' that is the highest compliment...[He] just didn't turn it on when the audience was there. You were entertained all day long and your ego was fed in an appropriate way. He loved show business. He was almost like a conductor that was also being the symphony. I don't know how he did it, but it was amazing."

Jimmy Connors (9/2/1952, Virgo Dragon), Patti McGuire (9/5/1951, Virgo Rabbit) : The multiple-grand-slam-winning tennis player and model/film producer first met at the Playboy Mansion. After marrying in 1979, McGuire sued for divorce in 1983 due to Connors' infidelities, which he acknowledged in his memoir, The Outsider (2013). However, the two mended their relationship. They have been together for over 44 years and have two children together.

Shania Twain (8/28/1965, Virgo Snake), Kelsea Ballerini (9/12/1993, Virgo Rooster) : The two country music stars have developed a close and supportive friendship. Ballerini described in 2022: "Shania’s my queen. Everyone knows it. My God, what an incredible artist. And the more I get to know her, the more I’m like, 'Of course you’re Shania Twain. You couldn’t be cooler.'...I’ve known her for a couple years now, and we’ve had a really beautiful mentor-mentee relationship...[Recently] I sat on her hotel room balcony for a couple of hours and she just was really honest and open and warm and lovely. Right now, I have fewer artist friendships than I’ve ever had, but the ones that I do have are actual genuine friendships. I put her in that category."

The-Dream (9/20/1977, Virgo Snake), Beyoncé (9/4/1981, Virgo Rooster) : The two singer/songwriter/producers have collaborated on multiple occasions. Beginning with the Grammy-winning monster hit, 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)', The-Dream has contributed to each of Beyoncé's subsequent albums, including 14 of the 16 tracks on Renaissance (2022). The-Dream has described: "When thinking about an artist like Beyoncé, I want to try to consider all the different ways this could reach people. I want the song to matter to Beyoncé standing onstage, the person in the front row of the show and that person who’s in the rafters, who barely made it in, got a ticket from a friend last minute. I have to write for each one of them."

Alessandra Rosaldo (9/11/1971, Virgo Pig), Eugenio Derbez (9/2/1961, Virgo Ox) : The two Mexican actors have been married since 2012 and have one child together. They have established a reputation for humorous social media posts about their marriage, with Derbez recently posting: "10 years later, with the commitment to have electricity and water in our home. But above all, with the commitment to continue drawing a smile on your face. Love you."

Axl Rose (2/6/1962, Aquarius Tiger), Slash (7/23/1965, Leo Snake) : Before reconciling in 2015, the two founding members of Guns N' Roses were almost as famous for the feud between them as for their legendary collaborations. A lowpoint was Rose saying in 2009 that, "Slash either should not have been in Guns to begin with or should have left after [1988’s GNR Lies]. In a nutshell, personally I consider him a cancer and better removed, avoided — and the less anyone heard of him or his supporters, the better."

Marilyn Monroe (6/1/1926, Gemini Tiger), John F. Kennedy (5/29/1917, Gemini Snake) : Monroe's performance of "Happy Birthday" for John F. Kennedy is one of the most famous events in modern U.S. history. Rumours have abounded of a sexual relationship between the two, but according to reports any such liaison was not especially memorable for either of them. The only known photo of them together shows Kennedy looking down and away.

Megan Fox (5/16/1986, Taurus Tiger), Michael Bay (2/17/1965, Aquarius Snake) : The actor and model Fox starred in the first two Transformers films directed by Bay, but was famously dropped from the third instalment after saying this about the director: "He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for…"

Phil Collins (1/30/1951, Aquarius Tiger), Lily Collins (3/18/1989, Pisces Snake) : The celebrated musician and his model/actor daughter seemed to reconcile in 2020 after a well-publicised estrangement. Lily Collins wrote in her autobiographical essays collection, Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me (2017), addressing her father: "We all make choices and, although I don’t excuse some of yours, at the end of the day we can’t rewrite the past. I’m learning how to accept your actions and vocalize how they made me feel. I accept and honor the sadness and anger I felt toward the things you did or didn’t do, did or didn’t give me. I’ve learned a lot and my eyes and heart are wide open."

Rosie O’Donnell (3/21/1962, Aries Tiger), Barbara Walters (9/25/1929, Libra Snake) : The two television personalities, both stars of The View, famously clashed during a dressing room confrontation in January 2007 following a dispute about Donald Trump. O'Donnell has since been quoted as saying, "I said something about her daughter, which I should not have said. But I did...Things that were way too personal to bring up, and I brought them up, and I felt regretful since."

Tom Cruise (7/3/1962, Cancer Tiger), Brooke Shields (5/31/1965, Gemini Snake) : The two actors starred together in the 1981 film, Endless Love. In 2005, Cruise criticized Shields' use of antidepressant medications to treat postpartum depression. She rebuked him: "[C]omments like those made by Tom Cruise are a disservice to mothers everywhere...If any good can come of Mr. Cruise's ridiculous rant, let's hope that it gives much-needed attention to a serious disease."
