Virgo Pig and Virgo Ox

Sam Esmail (9/17/1977, Virgo Snake), Emmy Rossum (9/12/1986, Virgo Tiger) : The producer/director and actor married in 2017 and have a daughter together. Esmail proposed by writing a mock story for the New York Times. Rossum later described: "I began to read the article, and the story is about a director who falls in love with an actress, and I started to think: Huh, that’s strange. And then I realized that it was our love story."

Adam Sandler (9/9/1966, Virgo Horse), Dennis Dugan (9/5/1946, Virgo Dog) : The actor and director have made nine films together, including Happy Gilmore (1996), Big Daddy (1999), I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007), You Don't Mess With the Zohan (2008), Grown Ups (2010), and Grown Ups 2 (2013). At the beginning of their relationship, Dugan tried multiple times without success to cast Sandler in the movie, Brain Donors (1992). After Brain Donors disappointed at the box office, Dugan went to work in TV, then later tried to break back into movies by applying to direct Happy Gilmore (1996). He later described: "[At the meeting] Sandler goes, ‘You!’ And I go, ‘You!’ … He said, ‘You stuck up for me, so you’re doing this movie.'"

John Ritter (9/17/1948, Virgo Rat), Amy Yasbeck (9/12/1962, Virgo Tiger) : The two actors were married from 1999 until Ritter's tragic death in 2003. They had one child, and were also frequent collaborators. Yasbeck described in 2022: "[Ritter] was an excellent person to have on a set and when anybody who's an actor, including me, says, 'Hey, you remind me of John Ritter, how you talk to that camera person or how you're relating with the guest stars,' that is the highest compliment...[He] just didn't turn it on when the audience was there. You were entertained all day long and your ego was fed in an appropriate way. He loved show business. He was almost like a conductor that was also being the symphony. I don't know how he did it, but it was amazing."

Jimmy Connors (9/2/1952, Virgo Dragon), Patti McGuire (9/5/1951, Virgo Rabbit) : The multiple-grand-slam-winning tennis player and model/film producer first met at the Playboy Mansion. After marrying in 1979, McGuire sued for divorce in 1983 due to Connors' infidelities, which he acknowledged in his memoir, The Outsider (2013). However, the two mended their relationship. They have been together for over 44 years and have two children together.

Shania Twain (8/28/1965, Virgo Snake), Kelsea Ballerini (9/12/1993, Virgo Rooster) : The two country music stars have developed a close and supportive friendship. Ballerini described in 2022: "Shania’s my queen. Everyone knows it. My God, what an incredible artist. And the more I get to know her, the more I’m like, 'Of course you’re Shania Twain. You couldn’t be cooler.'...I’ve known her for a couple years now, and we’ve had a really beautiful mentor-mentee relationship...[Recently] I sat on her hotel room balcony for a couple of hours and she just was really honest and open and warm and lovely. Right now, I have fewer artist friendships than I’ve ever had, but the ones that I do have are actual genuine friendships. I put her in that category."

The-Dream (9/20/1977, Virgo Snake), Beyoncé (9/4/1981, Virgo Rooster) : The two singer/songwriter/producers have collaborated on multiple occasions. Beginning with the Grammy-winning monster hit, 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)', The-Dream has contributed to each of Beyoncé's subsequent albums, including 14 of the 16 tracks on Renaissance (2022). The-Dream has described: "When thinking about an artist like Beyoncé, I want to try to consider all the different ways this could reach people. I want the song to matter to Beyoncé standing onstage, the person in the front row of the show and that person who’s in the rafters, who barely made it in, got a ticket from a friend last minute. I have to write for each one of them."

Alessandra Rosaldo (9/11/1971, Virgo Pig), Eugenio Derbez (9/2/1961, Virgo Ox) : The two Mexican actors have been married since 2012 and have one child together. They have established a reputation for humorous social media posts about their marriage, with Derbez recently posting: "10 years later, with the commitment to have electricity and water in our home. But above all, with the commitment to continue drawing a smile on your face. Love you."

Keira Knightley (3/26/1985, Aries Ox), James Righton (8/25/1983, Virgo Pig) : The actor and musician began a relationship in 2011 and married in 2013. They have two children together. Speaking about their different levels of earnings, Knightley has responded: "That’s what our national newspapers are telling girls – that you have to feel guilty about doing well if it’s making a man feel uncomfortable, which it doesn’t with my husband and it didn’t with my dad. But yet our society is telling us that’s what it should be."

George Clooney (5/6/1961, Taurus Ox), Talia Balsam (3/5/1959, Pisces Pig) : The two actors were married from 1989 to 1992, before Clooney embarked on twenty years of world-famous bacherlorhood. Both have continued to speak positively about the other, with Clooney saying, "[I] married the one girl that I truly loved and had loved for years," and, "I probably — definitely — wasn't someone who should have been married at that point. I just don't feel like I gave Talia a fair shot. I was responsible for the failure of that marriage." After appearing in HBO's Divorce (2016-2019), Balsam said: "If you're trying to compare [Clooney] to Thomas Haden Church's character, not at all. Absolutely, George is charming. He remains charming. I've worked with him."

Rooney Mara (4/17/1985, Aries Ox), Kate Mara (2/27/1983, Pisces Pig) : The sisters are both award-winning actors. Kate Mara described: "[F]rom the time I was 14 ‘til, I think, my sister [Rooney] started acting when I was 20, 21, I didn’t have someone to share this craziness with. So when she became an actor, we actually lived together in my apartment for the first year or two. We would both go on auditions and come home and talk about the terror of certain auditions and funny stories and so it just became something super special that you can actually bond with a sibling with which is very rare."

Tabitha King (3/24/1949, Aries Ox), Stephen King (9/21/1947, Virgo Pig) : The two authors have been married since 1971. After an Associated Press article referred to a donation having been made by "Stephen King and his wife", Tabitha published a statement saying, "Wife is a relationship or status. It is not an identity...You could have made other choices. You could have referred to me as OfStephen. Or His Old Lady. Or His-Ball-And-Chain."

Paul Shaffer (11/28/1949, Sagittarius Ox), David Letterman (4/12/1947, Aries Pig) : The talk show host and musician famously collaborated on both Late Night with David Letterman (1982–1993) and The Late Show with David Letterman (1993–2015). Letterman described: "We did 6,000 shows together, and [Shaffer] was the most important part of my life for every one of those 6,000 shows. Whether the show was good, not good, mediocre, ugly, awful, Paul Shaffer, you can count on him and the fantastic music. The thing that I miss most, other than the friends that I worked with, is not having the great privilege of live music every night."
