Bacall's memoir, By Myself (1979), recounted that Sinatra ended the relationship suddenly, after news leaked about their engagement: "[Sinatra] did not speak one word to me—if he looked in my direction, he did not see me, he looked right past me, as though my chair were empty...I would have preferred him to spit in my face, at least that would have been recognition." About the relationship generally, Bacall described: "[As I look at it now,] we used one another in some crazy way. Actually, Frank did me a great favor—he saved me from the disaster our marriage would have been. The truth is he was probably smarter than I: he knew it couldn’t work. But the truth is also that he behaved like a complete s—...Anyway, it turned out to be a tragedy with a happy ending. Now, after a slow start, we are back on some sort of friendly basis."

Chase Stokes (9/16/1992, Virgo Monkey), Madelyn Cline (12/21/1997, Sagittarius Ox) : The two actors co-starred as lovers in Outer Season and were also in a real-life relationship for over a year. Stokes described: "Mads and I have been working together now for 30 episodes, and we made a promise to each other before we even started dating that the work was always going to come first. Jimmy Connors (9/2/1952, Virgo Dragon), Chris Evert (12/21/1954, Sagittarius Horse) : The two champion tennis players were engaged in the 1970s, when they both achieved breakthrough successes, and were called the "Love Double" and "Love Match" by the press. In his memoir, The Outsider (2013), Connors alleged that their previouly unexplained break-up was due in part to Evert having an abortion. Evert responded: "In his book, Jimmy Connors has written about a time in our relationship that was very personal and emotionally painful. I am extremely disappointed that he used the book to misrepresent a private matter that took place 40 years ago and made it public, without my knowledge."

Lance Armstrong (9/18/1971, Virgo Pig), Jan Ullrich (12/2/1973, Sagittarius Ox) : The two cyclists were famous rivals, with Ulrich finishing second to Armstrong in the Tour de France in 2000, 2001, and 2003. They admitted to doping during their careers within months of each other in 2013. In 2018, Armstrong travelled to Germany to help Ulrich address personal problems. In 2020, Armstrong said: "It means the world to me, to do a bike tour with Jan Ullrich and get kicked in the ass by him on the bike. Who says great rivals can’t be friends?...[He] drastically changed my life. [He] challenged me as a man...We came through a crazy time and a [expletive] time and we all navigated it differently. In his memoir, You Are Not Alone: Michael, Through a Brother's Eyes, Jermaine described his infamous bootleg song, "Word to the Badd!!" as "secret retaliation...that therapists would have applauded, even if Michael's fans would not." In her memoir, A Doctor in the House: My Life with Ben Carson (2016), Candy Carson described: "The life of a neurosurgeon isn’t an easy one...The life of a neurosurgeon’s wife isn’t much easier. But it’s all been worth it."

Keely Shaye Smith (9/25/1963, Libra Rabbit), Pierce Brosnan (5/16/1953, Taurus Snake) : The actor and author/journalist have been married for 25 years and have two children. Brosnan has described how the couple, "[L]isten to the sounds of each other’s voices and [sort] out the world." Asked to describe the last perfect day in their relationship, Brosnan said: "It was yesterday. I painted in my studio, then I went down and sat on the beach, read and did some drawing — and then I had lunch with Keely."

Bridget Fonda (1/27/1964, Aquarius Rabbit), Danny Elfman (5/29/1953, Gemini Snake) : The composer and actor have been married since 2003 and have one child. Shortly before her 2003 engagement to Elfman, Fonda was involved in a serious car accident. She had previously starred in multiple high-profile movies, including Single White Female (1992), Singles (1992), Jackie Brown (1997), and A Simple Plan (1998), Since their engagement, Elfman has worked prolifically as a composer—including the award-winning soundtracks for Spider-Man 2 (2005), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2006), Alice in Wonderland (2010), Frankenweenie (2012), and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), and the TV show Desperate Housewives (2004-2012)—while Fonda has withdrawn from public life to focus on their family.

Kendrick Lamar (6/17/1987, Gemini Rabbit), Dr. Dre (2/18/1965, Aquarius Snake) : The rapper/producer and rapper have shared a mentoring friendship, including working together on Dre's as-yet-unreleased album, Detox. Lamar described in 2011: "Dre and I have a personal relationship. In the first studio session, we clicked so crazy. It was more like a uncle-nephew kind of vibe. Because everybody sees Dre as just a gangsta rapper, but he shares the same story that I have, a good kid in a mad city. When we sit in the studio, we talk about these different streets that we both lived on and experiences he had that I can relate to being two generations younger. Blake Lively (8/25/1987, Virgo Rabbit), Taylor Swift (12/13/1989, Sagittarius Snake) : The music superstar and actor/director made friends in 2015. They have traded frequent affectionate social media posts and attended parties together. In 2021, Lively directed the video for Swift's song, "I Bet You Think About Me" (Taylor's Version) (From the Vault). At the 2022 American Music Awards, Swift said in a speech accepting her "Favorite Pop Album" award: "I want to take a moment to thank someone who directed the music video 'I Bet You Think About Me,' my beautiful, brilliant friend, my director Blake Lively."

Michael Jordan (2/17/1963, Aquarius Rabbit), Scottie Pippen (9/25/1965, Leo Snake) : The two celebrated basketballers formed one of the most successful pairings in NBA history, leading the Chicago Bulls to "three-peat" championships between 1990-1993 and 1995-1998. Pippen has described the closeness of their relationship at that time, saying: "[Jordan and I] grew up together and we defended each other. That respect we had on the court, that competitiveness we took through to the top – it was special. That was the respect we had for each other, because we had to be on the court to do what we did. We had to be dominant." Following the Jordan-led documentary, The Last Dance (2020), Pippen has expressed frustration on multiple occasions. In 2020, he said: "I don’t think [The Last Dance] was that accurate in terms of really defining what was accomplished in one of the greatest eras of basketball, but also by two of the greatest players...I thought it was more about Michael trying to uplift himself and to be glorified. I think it also backfired to some degree in that people got a chance to see what kind of personality Michael had."

Frank Sinatra (12/12/1915, Sagittarius Rabbit), Dean Martin (6/7/1917, Gemini Snake) : The two legendary singer/actors were friends who formed part of the so-called "Rat Pack" in the 1960s. They toured together frequently and co-starred in films including Ocean’s 11 (1960) and Robin and the 7 Hoods (1964). Sinatra was reportedly "too overwrought" to attend Martin's funeral in 1995, but he released a statement saying, "Dean was my brother — not through blood but through choice. Good times and bad, we were there together."
