Taurus Ox and Aquarius Snake

George Lucas (5/14/1944, Taurus Monkey), John Williams (2/8/1932, Aquarius Monkey) : The composer and film director/producer shared one of the most iconic collaborations of all time in the Star Wars movies. In a recent interview, Williams remembered that Lucas originally wanted to use pre-existing classical music for the film, but Williams convinced him to use original music that could be manipulated to suit the drama. Contacted for comment, Lucas' representative responded that the director "never intended to use extant music in the film."

Dennis Hopper (5/17/1936, Taurus Rat), Rip Torn (2/6/1931, Aquarius Horse) : The actor and actor/director were famously in discussions in 1969 for Torn to appear in the Hopper-directed film, Easy Rider. Years later, Hopper accused Torn of pulling a knife on him over a dinner, to which Torn responded that it was Hopper who had pulled the knife on him. Torn sued Hopper for slander, and in 1998 won almost $1 million in damages.

Robert Zemeckis (5/14/1951, Taurus Rabbit), Leslie Zemeckis (2/5/1969, Aquarius Monkey) : The director and actor/filmmaker/author have been married since 2001 and have three children together. Robert Zemeckis described in 2018: "We are very supportive of each other when it comes to our individual endeavors and our endeavors together. We understand the ebb and flow of our careers and sometimes one person’s project takes priority over the other. It’s important to have individual, outside interests to fulfill oneself so as not to become dependent on the relationship for fulfillment."

Shirley MacLaine (4/24/1934, Taurus Dog), Steve Parker (2/6/1922, Aquarius Dog) : The actor and film producer were married from 1954 to 1982 and had a daughter together. Describing their unorthodox relationship, Maclaine has said: "I guess you would say 'practiced an open marriage' in 1954, which was another lifetime. No one understood it. We did. He lived in Japan basically, I lived in America working, and this and that. We'd meet up, always great friends, traveled sometimes together."

Valerie Bertinelli (4/23/1960, Taurus Rat), Eddie Van Halen (1/26/1955, Aquarius Sheep) : The musician/founding member of the band Van Halen and actor were married from 1981 to 2007 and had one child (Wolfgang Van Halen) together. In her book Enough Already, Bertinelli described how the couple remained close after separating in 2001: "Ed and I grew even closer together. We couldn’t live with each other, but we found it impossible to live completely apart."

Cate Blanchett (5/14/1969, Taurus Rooster), Andrew Upton (2/1/1966, Aquarius Horse) : The actor and playwright have been married since 1997 and have four children together. Blanchett has described their courtship with characteristic irony: "I cooked him the worst meal. I somehow decided that to stuff a trout with walnuts and goat’s cheese would be a good idea. He ate it and then he asked me to marry him, so clearly he was, I don’t know, hallucinating."

George Clooney (5/6/1961, Taurus Ox), Amal Clooney (2/3/1978, Aquarius Snake) : One-time legendary bachelor George Clooney was reinvented as half of a world-famous couple after entering a relationship with Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin). George Clooney has described: "The truth was I met this amazing woman, and she took my breath away. She was brilliant and funny and beautiful and kind. I was sort of swept off my feet."

Nas (9/14/1973, Virgo Ox), Dr. Dre (2/18/1965, Aquarius Snake) : Collaborations between these two Hip-Hop greats have been credited with helping to ease tensions during the East Coast/West Coast rap rivalry during the 1990s.

Finneas O'Connell (7/30/1997, Leo Ox), Billie Eilish (12/18/2001, Sagittarius Snake) : The singer/songwriter and singer/songwriter/producer are sister and brother. The two have collaborated extensively, notably on Eilish's hugely successful and multi-award-winning albums When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019) and Happier Than Ever (2021). In a joint interview, Connell described: "Then we were like, 'Let’s make some songs,' that kind of casual thing turned into this more serious thing, and so we had this excuse to see each other all the time. Most of the people that I’m closest to have a really close relationship with their siblings — I think that’s why I identify with them — but they just have no excuse to see them...And so I think that’s the other thing that has cemented our closeness, is just we have this excuse. It’s part of the reason I love going on tour with Billie — I have this excuse to get to spend months at a time with her." Eilish said, "We bicker so much, you would not believe it...Since we were babies, we fight all the time like siblings do. We’re so annoyed by each other and infuriated by things. Sam Peckinpah (2/21/1925, Pisces Ox), Begoña Palacios (12/28/1941, Capricorn Snake) : The Mexican actor and famously troubled US director were married and divorced three times. Their daughter Lupita recalled, "They were so in love with each other but they were two people who couldn't be together but couldn't be separate. There was a lot of passion and love between them. She lived in the past and agonised about losing him. My mother always respected my father very much and she always told me great and beautiful things about him."

Dave Chappelle (8/24/1973, Virgo Ox), Chris Rock (2/7/1965, Aquarius Snake) : The two comedians are good friends who have expressed mutual admiration and appeared together on stage multiple times. Rock has described: "There was like a couple shows that were just me and Dave on stage for like two hours. He would call up my road manager, like, 'I'm coming.' ...I just love Dave, and I look at it like [Jean-Michel] Basquiat and [Andy] Warhol and we’re just collaborating."

Heidi Klum (6/1/1973, Gemini Ox), Tom Kaulitz (9/1/1989, Virgo Snake) : The model/entertainer/businesswoman and musician married in 2019. Kaulitz is Klum's third husband, and she has four children from previous relationships. She has described: "For the first time, [in Kaulitz] I have a partner who I can discuss everything with. Someone who shares duties that we all have in our life."

Jeff Bridges (12/4/1949, Sagittarius Ox), Beau Bridges (12/9/1941, Sagittarius Snake) : The two brothers are both screen actors, part of a dynasty with father Lloyd Bridges. In 2014, they appeared on stage together at a sold-out event entitled, "Beau and Jeff: A Tale of Two Bridges". Jeff has described their relationship and shared profession by saying, "It’s not a competition. It’s like we’re on the same team."
