Ruffalo described in 2014: "I was living in a dump and didn’t even have a driver’s license or a credit card. [Coigney] thought I was a mess … but she believed in me and kept encouraging me. Referring to Parsekian's anti-bullying non-profit organization, Paul said in his 2014 Emmy acceptance speech: "To my wife, my God, thank you for marrying me. Lauren Bacall (9/16/1924, Virgo Rat), Frank Sinatra (12/12/1915, Sagittarius Rabbit) : The legendary singer and actor became romantically involved after the death of Bacall's first husband, Humphrey Bogart. Bacall's memoir, By Myself (1979), recounted that Sinatra ended the relationship suddenly, after news leaked about their engagement: "[Sinatra] did not speak one word to me—if he looked in my direction, he did not see me, he looked right past me, as though my chair were empty...I would have preferred him to spit in my face, at least that would have been recognition." About the relationship generally, Bacall described: "[As I look at it now,] we used one another in some crazy way. Actually, Frank did me a great favor—he saved me from the disaster our marriage would have been. The truth is he was probably smarter than I: he knew it couldn’t work. But the truth is also that he behaved like a complete s—...Anyway, it turned out to be a tragedy with a happy ending. Now, after a slow start, we are back on some sort of friendly basis."

Chase Stokes (9/16/1992, Virgo Monkey), Madelyn Cline (12/21/1997, Sagittarius Ox) : The two actors co-starred as lovers in Outer Season and were also in a real-life relationship for over a year. Stokes described: "Mads and I have been working together now for 30 episodes, and we made a promise to each other before we even started dating that the work was always going to come first. And that no matter what happens in our personal lives, and the ways that life sometimes takes you in different directions, that we're always going to honor the work. That stayed 100 percent truthful this season."

Jimmy Connors (9/2/1952, Virgo Dragon), Chris Evert (12/21/1954, Sagittarius Horse) : The two champion tennis players were engaged in the 1970s, when they both achieved breakthrough successes, and were called the "Love Double" and "Love Match" by the press. In his memoir, The Outsider (2013), Connors alleged that their previouly unexplained break-up was due in part to Evert having an abortion. Evert responded: "In his book, Jimmy Connors has written about a time in our relationship that was very personal and emotionally painful. I am extremely disappointed that he used the book to misrepresent a private matter that took place 40 years ago and made it public, without my knowledge."

Lance Armstrong (9/18/1971, Virgo Pig), Jan Ullrich (12/2/1973, Sagittarius Ox) : The two cyclists were famous rivals, with Ulrich finishing second to Armstrong in the Tour de France in 2000, 2001, and 2003. They admitted to doping during their careers within months of each other in 2013. In 2018, Armstrong travelled to Germany to help Ulrich address personal problems. In 2020, Armstrong said: "It means the world to me, to do a bike tour with Jan Ullrich and get kicked in the ass by him on the bike. Who says great rivals can’t be friends?...[He] drastically changed my life. [He] challenged me as a man...We came through a crazy time and a [expletive] time and we all navigated it differently. But we’re here and we’ve got this man back, fit and healthy. This is certainly one of the highlights of my year....When I see him here now and compare it with the man from three years ago: It’s one of the biggest comebacks in the world."

Jermaine Jackson (12/11/1954, Sagittarius Horse), Michael Jackson (8/29/1958, Virgo Dog) : The two musician brothers and members of the Jackson 5 attracted publicity for their complex relationship. In his memoir, You Are Not Alone: Michael, Through a Brother's Eyes, Jermaine described his infamous bootleg song, "Word to the Badd!!" as "secret retaliation...that therapists would have applauded, even if Michael's fans would not." About the relationship generally, Jermaine wrote: "We have been in sync since infancy, throughout everything: the dream, the Jackson 5, the fame, the separate paths, the rifts, the sorrows, the scandals, and the impossible pressure. He has cried with me. I have shouted in his face. He has refused to see me. He has begged me to be with him. We have known each other’s loyalty and each other’s unintended betrayal. And it is because of everything contained within this history—this brotherhood—that I know his character and mind like only true blood can."

Heidi Klum (6/1/1973, Gemini Ox), Seal (2/19/1963, Pisces Rabbit) : The model and musician were married from 2005 to 2012, and had three children together. Shortly after they began their relationship, Klum told Seal she was pregnant to her previous boyfriend. Seal described in 2008: "There was a pause of about 10 seconds and I said, 'It doesn't change the way I feel about you because the fact that you are here tells me that you think a lot about me.' People have said I was such a good person, so courageous. I honestly don't see it like that. I was the lucky one." After their break-up, Klum referred to them renewing their vows each year they were married, saying: "I think I got married eight times to Seal. I thought it would be kind of, like, fun. I thought it would be a fest of love. But you know, that doesn't work either. I tried, you can't say I didn't try!"

Stephen Eckelberry (12/8/1961, Sagittarius Ox), Karen Black (7/1/1939, Cancer Rabbit) : The actor/singer/songwriter and director/editor were together from 1983 until Black's death in 2013. They married in 1987 and adopted a daughter. Describing Black's posthumous song anthology, Dreaming of You (1971–1976), Eckelberry said: "When she acted, she was a consummate character actor. She was almost so good as a character actor that it harmed her ability to be a movie star because she was so totally enveloped in the role. So here, you have an opportunity to see the real Karen. The creativity that comes straight from her. It’s not the dialogue of some screenwriter, no matter how good they may be; it’s her own. And that is the greatest thing that comes out of this for me."

Jane Fonda (12/21/1937, Sagittarius Ox), Lily Tomlin (9/1/1939, Virgo Rabbit) : The two actors have been close friends since they starred together in the movie, 9 to 5 (1980). Recently, they co-starred as the leads in the TV show Grace and Frankie (2015-2022). Fonda has described about their relationship: "Male friendships are facing outward, side-by-side, looking out, ‘Oh, look at her boobs,’ ‘God, what a great car.’ Women friendships are face-to-face, and it’s like, ‘Can you help me? I’m really lost,’ and you’ll take me into your arms. We’re not afraid to ask for help, we’re not afraid to express vulnerability [and] we just drill down to soul-level very fast." Tomlin said in 2023: "[Fonda's] always been the ‘take a leap of faith’ girl to me. I just loved her innocence and her need to make everybody OK with it, and do the right thing. And thank God I did do the movie [9 to 5]. It was a blessing."

Louis Armstrong (8/4/1901, Leo Ox), Bing Crosby (5/3/1903, Taurus Rabbit) : The jazz musician/actor and singer/actor shared a friendly relationship as two of the biggest stars in the early twentieth century. Crosby reportedly lobbied for Armstrong to receive prominent billing when they co-starred in the film, Pennies from Heaven (1936), a first for a Black actor in a mainstream movie. They later recorded the album Bing and Satchmo (1960). Although Armstrong famously said, "I’ve never been invited to the home of a movie star – not even Bing’s," Crosby wrote affectionately in the months before Armstrong's death in 1971: "I’m saddened to hear that you have been stricken again, Pops….I think of you often, and I will always recall, with pleasure, the times when we get together for an appearance, or a visit. They’re too infrequent, it seems to me, and when you get back to work, we’ll have to change all this."

Jack Nicholson (4/22/1937, Taurus Ox), Anjelica Huston (7/8/1951, Cancer Rabbit) : The two legendary actors were together for seventeen years until 1990. They co-starred in Prizzi's Honor (1985), for which Huston won an Academy Award. Nicholson continued to see other women during their relationship, and Huston wrote in her memoir, Watch Me (2014): "Occasionally, I’d find a piece of female apparel...or a trinket might get left behind in the soap dish. Sometimes I’d take to wearing the jewelry to see if anybody would come up and claim it, but that never happened." She also described: "There was a profound and devoted sense of loyalty with Jack. If he invested in you, or if he placed his heart with you, it meant something for life. Jack had a very healthy awareness and a self-approbation that you could enjoy with him. He saw the lunacy in situations and was generally at the center of it." In 1980, Nicholson said , "I certainly would say [Huston]’s the love of my life."

Daphna Kastner (4/17/1961, Aries Ox), Harvey Keitel (5/13/1939, Taurus Rabbit) : The two actors married secretly in 2001 and have a son together. Keitel has described how they first met at a party in the 1980s, but after two dinners Kastner turned him down. Seventeen years afterwards, they met again at a party and stayed together: "Seven weeks later, I was going to a film festival in Italy and I asked her to come with me. She said, 'Yes,’ and on the flight, I said, ‘What do you think about getting married?’ She gave a great answer: she said, ‘OK.'"

Gene Simmons (8/25/1949, Virgo Ox), Paul Stanley (1/20/1952, Aquarius Rabbit) : The two musicians and founding members of the band Kiss have been collaborators for over 50 years. Stanley described in 2021: "[W]e're very different, but we certainly share a pride in what we do, a work ethic...Even when things have been tough...we always were family...I'm very, very lucky to have him. And I don't necessarily agree with everything he does. But does anybody?" Simmons said in 2017: "[T]ime is the ultimate judge, and the fact that [Stanley and I have] been together, at this point for over 40 years says volumes. There have been times where I’ve been very angry and resentful — and I’m not saying momentarily — I’m saying for long periods of time. But, in time, everything falls in place and you get a better perspective — hopefully. If you don’t expect from someone what’s not possible, then you won’t be disappointed."
