Tim Robbins (10/16/1958, Libra Dog), Robert Altman (2/20/1925, Pisces Ox) : The actor and actor/director collaborated on multiple occasions, including on the films The Player, Short Cuts, and Ready to Wear. In 1997, Altman expressed his admiration for Robbins, saying: "If an actor doesn't surprise me, I don't work with him again. They've got to show me something I could never think up myself. But what really amazed me was Tim's restraint as a director in Dead Man Walking. A lot of guys are facile at showing off. But he hid. To do that, you have to have your ego in the right place. Paltrow recently admitted to being somewhat overawed by Craig: "If you’re friends with someone before they become James Bond, and then they become James Bond and you’re nervous to see them at a party because they are now James Bond, is that weird?"

Mary Beth Hurt (9/26/1946, Libra Dog), Glenn Close (3/19/1947, Pisces Pig) : The two actors have been close friends since the 1970s. Close described: "I remember one time we were in an actor bar, and I think a famous tennis player came up and [Hurt] literally said, 'Shoo! Shoo! Go away.' She’s very funny, very smart, and I always felt a little like I didn’t quite measure up. Because I didn’t think I could be that kind of witty-funny. But I remember deciding that I’d much rather have Mary Beth as my friend than to try to be the wit of the party. And we’ve had this extraordinary friendship our whole careers."

Tom Petty (10/20/1950, Libra Tiger), George Harrison (2/25/1943, Pisces Sheep) : The two celebrated musicians became friends when they collaborated as part of The Travelling Wilburys. Petty described: "The Hindus think that when you meet someone and you feel really close to them immediately, that maybe you knew them in a past life. And that was how it was with George. We instantly became very close. And I remember him saying to me, 'You know I’m not going to let you out of my life now.' We really got along well, and shared a sense of humor. And we became very close friends."

Amy Madigan (9/11/1950, Virgo Tiger), Ed Harris (11/28/1950, Sagittarius Tiger) : The two actors have been married since 1983 and have one child. Harris described in 1985: "The acting thing is so intimate and personal that if we’re not working together, it’s real hard to share what we’re doing. I mean we both know what we’re doing, but you can’t really talk about your day very well. When you’re working together, though, there’s so much that is shared, so much unspoken thought and emotion that goes into the work, that it really draws you closer."

Hugh Hefner (4/9/1926, Aries Tiger), Kimberley Conrad (8/6/1962, Leo Tiger) : The magazine publisher and actress/model were married from 1989-2010 and had two children together. According to reports, the two separated in 1998, but Conrad and the children continued for many years to live in the house next door to Hefner, until a dispute over alimony payments.

John Coltrane (9/23/1926, Libra Tiger), Miles Davis (5/26/1926, Gemini Tiger) : The two jazz legends shared one of the most iconic collaborations in history during the late 1950s, including Davis' masterpieces Milestones (1958) and Kind of Blue (1959). It was a complex relationship, with Davis once striking Coltrane for slovenliness caused by drug use. But their mutual respect and influence have been widely acknowledged. Davis once described: "We used to talk a lot about music at rehearsals and on the way to gigs I'd say, 'Trane, here are some chords but don’t play them like they are all the time, you know? Start in the middle sometimes and don’t forget you can play them up in thirds. So that means you got 18, 19 different things to play in two bars.' He would sit there, eyes wide open, soaking up everything."

Tom Cruise (7/3/1962, Cancer Tiger), Penélope Cruz (4/28/1974, Taurus Tiger) : The two actors were romantically involved between around 2001 to 2004. Speaking about the relationship in 2006, Cruz said about Cruise: "Tom is a very good man, and I am close to his whole family, his children. Anthony Kiedis (11/1/1962, Scorpio Tiger), Flea (10/16/1962, Libra Tiger) : The two musicians and founding members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers have known each other since they were teenagers. Flea described in 2019: "I met him when I was 15 and we both started 10th grade at Fairfax High School and we were almost immediately in love and at war and it's stayed that way ever since. I found someone who I could communicate with in a profound way that I hadn't before and here we are 40 something years later..."
