Leo Sheep and Scorpio Sheep

James Cameron (8/16/1954, Leo Horse), Gale Anne Hurd (10/25/1955, Scorpio Sheep) : Film director Cameron and producer Hurd shared a noteworthy collaborative relationship, and were married from 1985 to 1989. Before their marriage, they worked on The Terminator (1984), for which they also both wrote the script. They made Aliens (1986) while they were together, and The Abyss (1989) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) during and after their break-up. Cameron described in 1986: "We don’t always get along. There’s always creative dialog. I know this movie [Aliens] would not have been possible to do, as you saw it, within the budget parameters, if we hadn’t made such a good team. I never could have done it with another producer who wasn’t backing me 100%. Donnie Wahlberg (8/17/1969, Leo Rooster), Jenny McCarthy (11/1/1972, Scorpio Rat) : Singer/songwriter/actor/producer Wahlberg and actor/model/meda personality McCarthy have been married since 2014. McCarthy said in 2021, "Even Prince Charming and the fairy tale doesn’t come without work. I loved him so much as soon as I met him, I was like, ‘How do I not mess this up? I’m going to ask him, before we even have our first fight, if we can go to therapy together.'"

Melinda French Gates (8/15/1964, Leo Dragon), Bill Gates (10/28/1955, Scorpio Sheep) : Microsoft founder Bill Gates and computer scientist/philanthropist Melinda Gates met in 1987, and were married from 1994 to 2021. They have three children. Their charitable foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was the second largest charitable organization in the world in 2020. In 2019, Melinda Gates said, "I think people have a certain view of Bill, because he was a high-charging CEO running Microsoft. I think people must think, 'Oh well, Melinda must not really have equality with Bill.' Actually, I have total equality with Bill. But it took a while for us to get there." Around the same time, Bill was quoted as saying, "Working together as well as raising a family together, there’s a certain intensity to that. But we’re very lucky because we mostly see things the same way, the goals are very much the same."

Merritt Wever (8/11/1980, Leo Monkey), Toni Collette (11/1/1972, Scorpio Rat) : The two actors formed a close connection when they collaborated on the successful and award-winning miniseries, Unbelievable (2019). Collette described, "[Our rapport] was very easy and just felt natural, you know? We didn't have to reach too far to make it feel authentic...it is [a] really important story, and I think every human should watch it." Wever said, "[Collette is] someone whose body of work is part of my artistic makeup and DNA...I actually accidentally quoted Muriel’s Wedding to her face one day, and thought she was gonna think I was the biggest dork. Instead, she received it with like, great affection and forgiveness and patience. I got to tell Muriel, 'You’re terrible, Muriel.' And you know what? There aren’t too many people in the world who can say that, so I’ll take it..."

David Crosby (8/14/1941, Leo Snake), Neil Young (11/12/1945, Scorpio Rooster) : The two musicians formed part of the on-again, off-again supergroup, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Their album, Déjà Vu (1970), remains the most successful for each of the four members. Young and Crosby shared a famously at times fraught relationship. In 2014, Crosby described Young's partner Daryl Hannah as, "a purely poisonous predator." Young responded, "I wish [Crosby] the best with his life. There’s love there. There’s just nothing else there." After Crosby died in early 2023, Young wrote: "David’s voice and energy were at the heart of our band. His great songs stood for what we believed in and it was always fun and exciting when we got to play together...We had so many great times, especially in the early years. Crosby was a very supportive friend in my early life, as we bit off big pieces of our experience together. David was the catalyst of many things."

Arnold Schwarzenegger (7/30/1947, Leo Pig), Lou Ferrigno (11/9/1951, Scorpio Rabbit) : The two bodybuilders shared an iconic rivalry, recorded in the cult classic documentary film, Pumping Iron (1977). The film is famous in part for showcasing Schwarzenegger's legendary "psych-out" tactics against Ferrigno. Ferrigno said later, "My only regret was that I was planning and hoped to reach my full potential and beat Arnold because he was five years older, but I never got that chance...The way I look at it, it didn’t matter if I won, [it] didn’t matter if I lost. It was all about reaching out to the mainstream and educating the public on what bodybuilding really is." Pumping Iron is generally credited with having springboarded both Ferrigno and Schwarzenegger to highly successful and lucrative careers in Hollywood.

Nicole Kidman (6/20/1967, Gemini Sheep), Keith Urban (10/26/1967, Scorpio Sheep) : The actor and singer have been married for 15 years and have two children together. Urban has described how he entered rehab for addiction within months of their wedding, saying, "I caused the implosion of my fresh marriage. It survived, but it’s a miracle it did. For the first time in my life, I could shake off the shackles of addiction." Later, speaking of the support Urban provided after the death of her father, Kidman said, "To have my husband to step up in that way, it makes me cry. He’s amazing. I will keep him. I’ll do anything for that man."

Imelda Staunton (1/9/1956, Capricorn Sheep), Mike Leigh (2/20/1943, Pisces Sheep) : The actor and director worked together on the multi-award-winning films, Vera Drake (2004) and Another Year (2010). Staunton described in 2005: "Mike empowers you as an actor. We created together the character of Vera [Drake] from the day she was born. The creative process was long but very fulfilling, because it involved improvisations and extensive research of the whole period...The sessions with Mike are always very personal, one-to-one. During that time, you don’t talk to the other actors at all. You don’t exchange notes about what you're doing, or what they're doing. Each one of us only talks to Mike. My sessions with Mike varied in length, but they were always one-to-one."

Evanna Lynch (8/16/1991, Leo Sheep), Bonnie Wright (2/17/1991, Aquarius Sheep) : The two actors co-starred in the Harry Potter film series, and have gone on to share a friendship based on similar commitments to activism. Promoting an event to publicize Wright's book, Go Gently: Actionable Steps to Nurture Yourself and the Planet (2022), Lynch posted in 2022: "Over the past few years, I’ve been very inspired by Bonnie’s lifestyle and her passion and commitment to sustainability and to making sustainable practices accessible for everyone. I’ve seen her in many different settings gently but consistently advocate for zero-waste facilities, and each time, it jolted me into realising how wasteful and careless of the planet my normal everyday habits become, unless I consciously choose otherwise...I have LOTS of questions for Bonnie!! Jason Momoa (8/1/1979, Leo Sheep), Lisa Bonet (11/16/1967, Scorpio Sheep) : The couple were together for 16 years and married for five. Early in the relationship, they made headlines because of the 12-year age difference—when they met, Momoa was 25, Bonet 37. They have two children together and remain close after separating in 2022. A joint statement issued after the separation described: "We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding — and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring...The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. Leonard Nimoy (3/26/1931, Aries Sheep), William Shatner (3/22/1931, Aries Sheep) : The two actors were close friends who created one of the most iconic on-screen relationships of all time, as Captain Kirk and Spock in the original Star Trek film and TV series. Shatner described in his book, Nimoy, Leonard: My Fifty-Year Friendship With a Remarkable Man (2016) that the pair grew apart later in life, which Shatner has described with great regret: "No, [I never understood why,] and [Nimoy] was my dearest friend. We talked about all kinds of things in the darkness of the limousine, about divorce and children. But something happened, I don’t know what, it was so bizarre. But his daughter told me not long ago: 'He really loved you.' And that moved me to tears."

Barbara Eden (8/23/1931, Virgo Sheep), Larry Hagman (9/21/1931, Virgo Sheep) : The two actors displayed memorable chemistry as the stars of I Dream of Jeannie (1965-1970), in spite of Hagman's famously erratic behavior and alcoholism. They later appeared together on the show, Dallas (1978-1991), and in the play, Love Letters. Eden has said that there was never a romantic relationship between them, although, "We just...we clicked. We had the same rhythm. We’ve got the same truth out of whatever we were doing. I loved him a lot." Eden described that once, when she was upset after an incident on set, Hagman comforted her: "Don't cry, Barbara. That's my act."

Mick Jagger (7/26/1943, Leo Sheep), Keith Richards (12/18/1943, Sagittarius Sheep) : The two founding members of The Rolling Stones knew each other as children, and have shared a lifelong collaboration that is one of the most famous working relationships of all time. Richards described in 2021: "It's almost indescribable. When Mick and I are out there [on stage] working, we both know that, ‘Hey, I'm counting on you.’ And there's a beautiful jousting and also like a support. That's where I feel my friendship with Mick more intensely than at any other time he's on stage. You know, I have his back. He has mine. It's an interesting piece of improvisation goes on every night and it's like, how far do you want to push it? And that's half the fun of it. It's never the same, this show, there's no script."
