Of their early contacts, Capote described: "I started getting these letters from somebody who called himself Andy Warhol. They were, you know, fan letters. As their friendship developed, Warhol recorded hours of their conversations, which were adapted by playwright Rob Roth into the play, WARHOLCAPOTE. Capote says in the play: "My doctor suggested that I adopt some healthier hobby other than wine-tasting and fornication. So I’m going to get all pulled together. You can come out and visit me at the center." To which Warhol replies, "Okay, all right. I’ll come out and visit you. That would be really great. Oh, Truman, we’re going to miss you."

Martha Stewart (8/3/1941, Leo Snake), Snoop Dogg (10/20/1971, Libra Pig) : The rapper and TV personality formed an unexpected friendship after Snoop appeared on Stewart's cooking show in 2008. They went on to co-star in their own show, Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party. Snoop has described: "We talk about once a week, and when I go that way [New York] I like to stay at her house - her house is so big, her horse's house is bigger than my house. She's got it going on. I love me some Martha Stewart; she is just a joy to be around. When you think of Snoop Dogg [and Martha Stewart] it is just the perfect match, it's holy matrimony."

Antonio Banderas (8/10/1960, Leo Rat), Pedro Almodóvar (9/25/1949, Libra Ox) : The celebrated Spanish actor and director have made eight movies together. Banderas has described: "I had the biggest laughs I’ve ever had in my entire career of making movies with him. And we’ve had great times; absolutely great, great moments. I can tell you many beautiful stories about the movies we’ve done together. They will always be in my memory."

Ali Krieger (7/28/1984, Leo Rat), Ashlyn Harris (10/19/1985, Libra Ox) : The two US soccer players have been together since 2010 and married in 2019. Harris has described: "I think what’s so moving and powerful with Ali and I is we don’t overthink it — we just are genuinely us. Every day we show up, and for so long, we had to hide our love and our relationship and who we were and how we expressed ourselves because of the environment and because of our job...For so long, there was an elephant in the room, and it was like, this is so dumb. Blake Edwards (7/26/1922, Leo Dog), Julie Andrews (10/1/1935, Libra Pig) : The director and actor/musician were married for over 40 years before Edwards' death in 2010. Andrews recalled in 2019, "He was hilariously funny and had such a dark sense of humor that just put me away, that I loved so much. But he was also, at times, a very depressive personality and had a very difficult time."

Jennifer Garner (4/17/1972, Aries Rat), Judy Greer (7/20/1975, Cancer Rabbit) : The two actors appeared together in 13 going on 30 in 2004 and have continued a strong friendship. Greer made a speech when Garner was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Garner starred in Greer's directorial debut, A Happening of Monumental Proportions. Greer has described: "It's really important that you give your friendships some attention. It's important when you love someone to give that relationship attention. Sometimes you're going to talk a lot and sometimes you're not going to talk much and that has to be OK. I always feel like with [Garner], it's always very easy with her. Paltrow later recounted how Pitt confronted Harvey Weinstein after the infamous producer made an unwelcome advance towards her. "It was like the equivalent of [Pitt] throwing [Weinstein] against the wall...It was so fantastic because what he did was, he leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet...Harvey was never inappropriate with me again. Ever."

Stuart Townsend (12/15/1972, Sagittarius Rat), Charlize Theron (8/7/1975, Leo Rabbit) : The two actors were a couple for nine years, with each describing their relationship as akin to marriage, and surprised many observers when they split in 2010. During their time together, Theron described: "I've been in love before. But have I ever been with somebody who I really, truly felt had my back and was my best friend? No, not until Stuart." After their split, she described trying to mend the relationship: "It was sinking, and I had to give it a fight. I really wanted to try and make it work. That was the priority. 50 Cent (7/6/1975, Cancer Rabbit), Eminem (10/17/1972, Libra Rat) : The two rappers are among the most famous hip-hop artists of all time. They have long been collaborators and friends, since Eminem signed 50 Cent after hearing his Guess Who's Back mixtape in 2002. In 2014, 50 Cent described: "Hip Hop is Black music, without question, and, unfortunately for some people, it's tough to accept that you have a White artist that does it better than Black artists. It is what it is. You can get like whoever you think is the best Black artist and stand them face-to-face in a room with Em, and he will eat that [guy] alive."

Billy Crystal (3/14/1948, Pisces Rat), Robin Williams (7/21/1951, Cancer Rabbit) : The two comedians/actors were friends from their youth in the 1970s until Williams' death in 2014. Crystal has described: "[Williams was a] lonely kid, a kid on his own a lot, inventing characters, inventing whole worlds and as he grew, it got more complete and easier for him to get to...[Williams' depression is] really stuff I don't talk about. Incredibly difficult times.
