James Cameron (8/16/1954, Leo Horse), Gale Anne Hurd (10/25/1955, Scorpio Sheep) : Film director Cameron and producer Hurd shared a noteworthy collaborative relationship, and were married from 1985 to 1989. Before their marriage, they worked on The Terminator (1984), for which they also both wrote the script. They made Aliens (1986) while they were together, and The Abyss (1989) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) during and after their break-up. Cameron described in 1986: "We don’t always get along. There’s always creative dialog. I know this movie [Aliens] would not have been possible to do, as you saw it, within the budget parameters, if we hadn’t made such a good team. Donnie Wahlberg (8/17/1969, Leo Rooster), Jenny McCarthy (11/1/1972, Scorpio Rat) : Singer/songwriter/actor/producer Wahlberg and actor/model/meda personality McCarthy have been married since 2014. McCarthy said in 2021, "Even Prince Charming and the fairy tale doesn’t come without work. I loved him so much as soon as I met him, I was like, ‘How do I not mess this up? I’m going to ask him, before we even have our first fight, if we can go to therapy together.'"

Melinda French Gates (8/15/1964, Leo Dragon), Bill Gates (10/28/1955, Scorpio Sheep) : Microsoft founder Bill Gates and computer scientist/philanthropist Melinda Gates met in 1987, and were married from 1994 to 2021. They have three children. Their charitable foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was the second largest charitable organization in the world in 2020. In 2019, Melinda Gates said, "I think people have a certain view of Bill, because he was a high-charging CEO running Microsoft. I think people must think, 'Oh well, Melinda must not really have equality with Bill.' Actually, I have total equality with Bill. But it took a while for us to get there." Around the same time, Bill was quoted as saying, "Working together as well as raising a family together, there’s a certain intensity to that. But we’re very lucky because we mostly see things the same way, the goals are very much the same."

Merritt Wever (8/11/1980, Leo Monkey), Toni Collette (11/1/1972, Scorpio Rat) : The two actors formed a close connection when they collaborated on the successful and award-winning miniseries, Unbelievable (2019). Collette described, "[Our rapport] was very easy and just felt natural, you know? We didn't have to reach too far to make it feel authentic...it is [a] really important story, and I think every human should watch it." Wever said, "[Collette is] someone whose body of work is part of my artistic makeup and DNA...I actually accidentally quoted Muriel’s Wedding to her face one day, and thought she was gonna think I was the biggest dork. Instead, she received it with like, great affection and forgiveness and patience. I got to tell Muriel, 'You’re terrible, Muriel.' And you know what? There aren’t too many people in the world who can say that, so I’ll take it..."

David Crosby (8/14/1941, Leo Snake), Neil Young (11/12/1945, Scorpio Rooster) : The two musicians formed part of the on-again, off-again supergroup, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Their album, Déjà Vu (1970), remains the most successful for each of the four members. Young and Crosby shared a famously at times fraught relationship. In 2014, Crosby described Young's partner Daryl Hannah as, "a purely poisonous predator." Young responded, "I wish [Crosby] the best with his life. There’s love there. There’s just nothing else there." After Crosby died in early 2023, Young wrote: "David’s voice and energy were at the heart of our band. His great songs stood for what we believed in and it was always fun and exciting when we got to play together...We had so many great times, especially in the early years. Crosby was a very supportive friend in my early life, as we bit off big pieces of our experience together. David was the catalyst of many things."

Arnold Schwarzenegger (7/30/1947, Leo Pig), Lou Ferrigno (11/9/1951, Scorpio Rabbit) : The two bodybuilders shared an iconic rivalry, recorded in the cult classic documentary film, Pumping Iron (1977). The film is famous in part for showcasing Schwarzenegger's legendary "psych-out" tactics against Ferrigno. Ferrigno said later, "My only regret was that I was planning and hoped to reach my full potential and beat Arnold because he was five years older, but I never got that chance...The way I look at it, it didn’t matter if I won, [it] didn’t matter if I lost. It was all about reaching out to the mainstream and educating the public on what bodybuilding really is." Pumping Iron is generally credited with having springboarded both Ferrigno and Schwarzenegger to highly successful and lucrative careers in Hollywood.

Pharrell Williams (4/5/1973, Aries Ox), Ariana Grande (6/26/1993, Cancer Rooster) : Musician/producer Williams produced and collaborated on singer/songwriter/actor Grande's Sweetener album. Grande described: "I don’t mix well with people who have crazy egos and right away [Williams] was super fun and chill and nice and there wasn’t any of that. He was more worried about getting to know me and making sure I was comfortable."

Sammy Davis, Jr. (12/8/1925, Sagittarius Ox), Kim Novak (2/13/1933, Aquarius Rooster) : The actor and entertainer reportedly shared an intense but risky romance in the late 1950s. Novak later described: "It was a very dangerous relationship then—a white woman and a black man, no matter his status—it simply didn’t mix publicly. I was suddenly in the eye of a hurricane."

Warren Beatty (3/30/1937, Aries Ox), Diane Keaton (1/5/1946, Capricorn Rooster) : The two actors had a high-profile romance around the making of Red in 1981. Thirty-five years later, Keaton still talks fondly about Beatty: "He is curious about everyone. He is so seductive in that regard. He makes you feel like you are the only one, the person that matters; that you are just absolutely fascinating, you know? And it’s with everyone, across the board. He just has this presence."

James Gandolfini (9/18/1961, Virgo Ox), David Chase (8/22/1945, Leo Rooster) : The actor and film-maker were close friends, who shared an iconic collaboration as the creator and lead actor in the TV series, The Sopranos (1999-2007). In a eulogy at Gandolfini's funeral in 2013, Chase described: "[V]ery early on, we were shooting in that really hot summer in humid New Jersey, and I looked over and you were sitting in an aluminum beach chair with your slacks rolled up to your knees, and black socks and black shoes, and a damp, wet handkerchief on your head...I was filled with love, and I knew then that I was in the right place...It made me so proud of our heritage to see you do that, and when I say that you were my brother, this has a lot to do with that. Italian-American. Italian worker. Builder. That Jersey thing, whatever that means. The same social class. I really feel, though that I’m older than you, I always felt that we were brothers — and partly based on that day. I was filled with so much love for everything that we were doing and what we were about to embark on. I also feel you’re my brother because of the things we both loved. Family. Work. People in all their imperfection. Food. Alcohol. Talking. Rage. And a desire to bring the whole structure crashing down."

Woody Harrelson (7/23/1961, Leo Ox), Matthew McConaughey (11/4/1969, Scorpio Rooster) : The two actors have been close friends for decades and have collaborated multiple times, including in Welcome to Hollywood (1998/2000), EDtv (1999), Surfer Dude (2008), and True Detective (2014). Responding to the suggestion that they might in fact be biological brothers, McConaughey said in 2023: "You know, where I start and where [Harrelson] ends, and where he starts and I end, has always been like a murky line. And that’s part of our bromance, right? My kids call him Uncle Woody. His kids call me Uncle Matthew. And you see pictures of us and my family thinks a lot of pictures of him are me. His family thinks a lot of pictures of me are him."

Sissy Spacek (12/25/1949, Capricorn Ox), Jack Fisk (12/19/1945, Sagittarius Rooster) : The actor and production designer/director have been married since 1971 and have two daughters together. Spacek has described: "First we met working together, and throughout the 1970s we just did almost every film together. We really supported one another and we really understood the business. It was what brought us together. And we were passionate about the same things, including movie-making. And that's something that we continue to share."

Naomi Osaka (10/16/1997, Libra Ox), Serena Williams (9/26/1981, Libra Rooster) : The two champion tennis players forged a strong bond after they met in the final of the US Open in 2018, when Williams received three on-court violations, and Osaka was visibly upset after her victory. In the aftermath of the match, Williams wrote an apology to Osaka, saying: "As I said on the court, I am so proud of you and I am truly sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing in sticking up for myself. But I had no idea the media would pit us against each other. I would love the chance to live that moment over again. I am, was, and will always be happy for you and supportive of you...All my love and your fan, Serena." Osaka responded, "People can misunderstand anger for strength because they can’t differentiate between the two. No one has stood up for themselves the way you have and you need to continue trailblazing." The pair have since maintained their supportive relationship, with Osaka saying in 2021: "It’s always an honour playing [Williams]...I was a little kid watching her play, and just to be on the court playing against her for me is a dream."

Kate Beckinsale (7/26/1973, Leo Ox), Pete Davidson (11/16/1993, Scorpio Rooster) : The actor/model and comedian/actor attracted pervasive media attention when they dated in 2019, with Beckinsale being nearly 20 years older. Seemingly referring to the relationship, Beckinsale said at the time: "I’ve never been in this position before — never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not."
