Paul McCartney (6/18/1942, Gemini Horse), John Lennon (10/9/1940, Libra Dragon) : As founding members of The Beatles, the two musicians shared a close friendship, and formed perhaps the most famous songwriting partnership in history. In one of his last interviews, months before his assassination in 1980, Lennon described: "Well, you could say that [McCartney] provided a lightness, an optimism, while I would always go for the sadness, the discords, a certain bluesy edge...Paul had a lot of training, could play a lot of instruments. He'd say, 'Well, why don't you change that there? You've done that note 50 times in the song.' You know, I'll grab a note and ram it home. Referring to the play and film Disco Pigs, which he starred in from 1996 to 2001, Murphy described: "That time, making Disco Pigs, was kind of the most important period of my life. The people I met there remain my closest friends...They shaped me in terms of my tastes, in terms of what I wanted to do with my life. And it was around the same time I met my wife. They have two children and share custody of Duff's child from a previous relationship. Duff posted in 2020, "Bubba, thanks for forcing me to go on that walk with you today (last year) I love you so much♥️...I will always choose sandwiches and 8 pm bedtimes over fancy date nights …. over and over again. Laurie Metcalf (6/16/1955, Gemini Sheep), Zoe Perry (9/26/1984, Libra Rat) : The mother and daughter are actors who have also collaborated multiple times, including playing the same character at different ages in the show, Young Sheldon (2017-present). In a joint interview in 2018, Perry described: "For me, just thinking back to the first time we got to share a stage together when we did [The] Other Place [on Broadway, from December 2012 to March 2013] — it was such a lucky experience for me because I know what [Metcalf's] capable of. To get to rehearse with her and experience that side of it with her was just such a treat because she's such a pro and she's also really generous and she's also immensely respectful...I mean, you can't separate your own relationship, but she kind of managed to in a very loving way and I appreciated that." Metcalf said, "I also like the fact that Zoe and I are peers now in what we do...Now I have another peer in the family that I can turn to and get advice from."

Kathleen Turner (6/19/1954, Gemini Horse), Michael Douglas (9/25/1944, Libra Monkey) : The two actors displayed legendary chemistry when they appeared together in the films, Romancing the Stone (1984), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), and The War of the Roses (1989), and later the TV series, The Kominsky Method (2018-2021). In her memoir, Send Yourself Flowers (2008), Turner recalled about making Romancing the Stone: "For a time, I was sure I was falling in love with Michael. And I think he was falling in love with me. I was certainly inspired to portray [the character] Joan’s accelerated sexual awareness by working with Michael...[But] I saw that Michael wasn’t free to pursue another relationship. We couldn’t keep the romance. But we kept our friendship. Michael always says very nice things about me...as well he should. Michael and I did some very challenging scenes together. The mutual trust and the emotional connection we’ve always had enabled us to take on whatever hair-raising perils were necessary...Oh, yeah, there’s a little competition. Just a touch. Come on, wimp. Carmelo Anthony (5/29/1984, Gemini Rat), Kevin Durant (9/29/1988, Libra Dragon) : The two NBA basketball stars share a close friendship. Durant described in 2016: "[Anthony's] a real bro. That’s my guy. I’ve looked up to Carmelo since I was 15 years old. I wanted to be Carmelo. And once I got the opportunity to hang around him and get to know him a little deeper, coming into the Draft, I asked him for advice here and there and it just made things… it made the relationship even smoother." Anthony has said, "I’ve always heard that, from people back home...I’ve always heard that KD looked up to me. Now, I look at him as my peer. I don’t look at him as a guy who looked up to me. Bernie Taupin (5/22/1950, Gemini Tiger), Elton John (3/25/1947, Aries Pig) : Acclaimed singer/songwriter Elton and lyricist Taupin have shared a 50-year songwriting collaboration that is one of the most successful partnerships of all time. Taupin described in 2019: "When we started it out it was really just me and him...I’d like to think I’ve been someone who can’t be ruffled by the insanity of [Elton's] career—and that I’ve always been there as the soft pillow to fall on in times of need...If we’ve weathered the storm now for over 50 years and have been able to maintain this extraordinary bond with each other, I don’t think there’s anything on god’s green earth that could separate us now."

Stephanie Allynne (9/19/1986, Virgo Tiger), Tig Notaro (3/24/1971, Aries Pig) : Comedian Notaro and actor Allynne married in 2015. They have two children, twins born in 2016. Allynne described in 2015: "I had not dated women before, and I think when we first started spending time with each other, I was so into Tig and I was falling in love with her and I didn't know how to identify it because I thought I was straight. I kept gravitating toward her and wanting to spend time with her, and then in the process of recognizing that in myself, I was like, 'Oh my god, I am fully in love with this person.' It kind of blew my mind in terms of sexual orientation, where you're like, 'I'm this way, and it's black-and-white.' I look back and go, 'God, I closed the door that I had no idea what was behind it.'"

Bill Murray (9/21/1950, Virgo Tiger), Sofia Coppola (5/14/1971, Taurus Pig) : The director and actor have collaborated multiple times, including the films, Lost in Translation (2003)—for which they both received Academy Award nominations—A Very Murray Christmas (2015), and On the Rocks (2020). Speaking about Lost in Translation, Coppola described: "It was about when you have a connection with someone. You never know. When you encounter someone you can instantly be hit by a look or a sense of humor. It was something that’s romantic without a sexual or real relationship. It does not mean he could actually be with you, but you could still have something of that bittersweet aspect. It’s the best way to connect with someone...[Murray's] so smart. He got what that character was looking for. We didn’t talk about it. He showed up and knew the tone of it. He found it as we went. He just got it. I feel a connection with him, in that he understands what I’m trying to do."

John Slattery (8/13/1962, Leo Tiger), Talia Balsam (3/5/1959, Pisces Pig) : The two actors have been married since 1998, and have one child. They played husband and wife, Roger and Mona Sterling, in the series, Mad Men (2007-2015), and also appeared together in the film, Return (2011). Slattery described in 2019, "I just found the right person, you know, I lucked out. I guess marry someone you like. We get along well, we always have, and I guess being in show business, some people say it’s difficult. I don’t know. We understand the rhythms of this life, which aren’t easy sometimes and there’s insecurity. You’re not sure where you’re going to be. So I don’t know. I got lucky."

Emilia Clarke (10/23/1986, Scorpio Tiger), Emma Thompson (4/15/1959, Aries Pig) : The two actors formed a close friendship when they collaborated on the film, Last Christmas (2019), which was co-written by Thompson. Clarke described: "I remember just looking at [Thompson] and being like, 'Just let me know if I mess it up.' She was like, 'What!' Gets me in this huge hug, and is like, 'I’ll do nothing of the sort. You’re going to be fine.' That was the dynamic from there on out. She just supported us in [this] magical way. I hadn’t met her before [the film] but I had been pretty obsessed with her my whole life. When I met her, she exceeded all of my expectations...I’ve had the good fortune of going to visit her and [her husband] Greg’s house in Scotland. They love a good sauna. It was me, Emma, and Greg in the nude in a sauna, jumping back and forth and shrieking…it was a dream."

Jeff Garlin (6/5/1962, Gemini Tiger), Larry David (7/2/1947, Cancer Pig) : The two comedians have famously become close friends through their collaboration on the show, Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000-present). Garlin described in 2011: "We discovered our connection during the audition process for the initial Curb special, and it felt instantly like we'd worked together our entire lives. I don't know why we have this relationship, but we do. Maybe we were slaves together in an earlier life. And in Curb Your Enthusiasm we were doing what we did and not having a clue whether people would get it or like it. The fact that it's gone on to be a big success, I am shocked. Because it truly was something that was organic, that we did to make ourselves laugh."

Tony Bennett (8/3/1926, Leo Tiger), Amy Winehouse (9/14/1983, Virgo Pig) : The two singers collaborated on the song, "Body and Soul", from Bennett's Grammy-winning album, Duets II (2011). The song was Bennett's first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for 45 years, and proved to be Winehouse's last recording. In Bennett's autobiography, Just Getting Started (2016), he wrote: "Should I have told [Winehouse] that I'd contended a little bit with [drugs and alcohol] myself and knew how you can fall into a bad cycle, but I also knew that you could bring yourself back? Would it have made a difference if someone she considered an idol had said to her something like, 'You're my idol. You are a once-in-a-lifetime talent. Please don't take that from the world.' [Maybe I should have said: ] Walk away from it all, if you like. Just live. Please."
