The match between Aquarius and Pisces is not usually thought of as a home run, compatibility-wise. Truth be told, the Semi-sextile aspect—where two signs occur one after the other—generally has a pretty bad rap. When they first meet, Aquarius and Pisces may be superficially friendly, but they could well find it difficult to establish an easy back-and-forth. As is typical for Semi-sextile matches, the differences are likely to make a stronger first impression than the similarities. Pisces will likely be unsettled by Aquarius’ apparently dominating attitude and unpredictability. Aquarians will find Pisces distant, and wonder what they could really learn from someone so seemingly vague and shy.

However, while many meetings between these signs may never really progress beyond an initial standoffishness, for those that do, there is potential for a much deeper connection.
