Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (4/16/1947, Aries Pig), John Wooden (10/14/1910, Libra Dog) : The basketball legend and his coach at UCLA were longtime friends. Following publication of his bestselling book, Coach Wooden and Me: Our 50-Year Friendship On and Off the Court (2017), Abdul-Jabbar described: "What [Wooden and I] had that we loved together so much, you know, the things that we shared, the loves that we shared, you know, for literature and for sports other than basketball. Quentin Tarantino (3/27/1963, Aries Rabbit), Michael Madsen (9/25/1957, Libra Rooster) : The director and actor memorably worked together on Tarantino's first feature, Reservoir Dogs, and in total have collaborated on four films. In 2016, Madsen described the relationship, saying, "You know, you started off with me, we started off together, so, you know, I created you, you created me."

Mariah Carey (3/27/1969, Aries Rooster), Nick Cannon (10/8/1980, Libra Monkey) : The legendary singer and actor/comedian were married from 2008 until they separated in 2014. Alec Guinness (4/2/1914, Aries Tiger), Merula Salaman (10/16/1914, Libra Tiger) : The two actors were married for over 60 years, from 1938 until Guiness' death in August, 2000. They had one son together. Salaman died two months after her husband in October, 2000.

John Easterling (4/10/1952, Aries Dragon), Olivia Newton-John (9/26/1948, Libra Rat) : The performer/activist and businessman were married from 2008 until Newton-John's death in 2022. "I always tell my friends you're never too old to find love," she said about their relationship. "I found the love of my life at 59 going on 60!"

Russell Crowe (4/7/1964, Aries Dragon), Hugh Jackman (10/12/1968, Libra Monkey) : The two actors famously share a mutually supportive friendship. Jackman has described: "Russell and I actually became very close friends...We knew each other a lot. And [he] has given me advice several times at key moments in my life that helped with my career. I also owe him because two of the biggest roles I’ve ever had in my life, he turned down – and suggested me for them."

Rashida Jones (2/25/1976, Pisces Dragon), Quincy Jones (3/14/1933, Pisces Rooster) : The actor/film-maker made the acclaimed documentary Quincy about her father, the legendary music producer. Speaking about footage showing Quincy recovering in hospital, Rashida explained: "I am so protective of my dad, and obviously, that’s a very intimate story to tell. My brother shot some of that stuff in the hospital, and then I shot some. Really, we did it for him, because we wanted him to be able to see where he was so that he wouldn’t forget and he would take care of himself."

Rosie Perez (9/6/1964, Virgo Dragon), Spike Lee (3/20/1957, Pisces Rooster) : The actor and director first met in the late 1980s when Lee cast Perez in the film Do the Right Thing. Celebrating the anniversary of the film Perez told a crowd of fans, "30 years ago, I met this man and he changed my life. And we need men like him in Hollywood. And we are doing it and we are going to take over, baby. And it takes a man like Spike Lee to help push those doors down. And I appreciate that. I am getting emotional because he literally changed my life. And I thank you."

Commenting on his experience working with and observing Cumberbatch, Hiddleston described: "Over the ten or so years I’ve known him what stands out is his limitless curiosity. Melia McEnery (2/1/1976, Aquarius Dragon), Eric Clapton (3/30/1945, Aries Rooster) : The legendary musician and philanthropist have been married for 18 years and have three children together. Clapton has described how before he met McEnery he suffered from addiction and used relationships with women as a form of escapism. Speaking about their meeting, Clapton said: "There was something about her... strength. She occupied her space with absolute authority. It was clear that even though she was half my age she was capable of being an adequate partner for anybody."

John Lennon (10/9/1940, Libra Dragon), Yoko Ono (2/18/1933, Aquarius Rooster) : The famous musicians and artists were committed peace activists who married in 1969. Their intense bond has attracted controversy with many attributing the break up of the Beatles in part to their relationship. Less than three months before his murder in December 1980, Lennon described his connection with Ono in an interview: "It is a teacher-pupil relationship. That's what people don't understand. She's the teacher and I'm the pupil. I'm the famous one, the one who's supposed to know everything, but she's my teacher. She's taught me everything I [expletive] know."

Neneh Cherry (3/10/1964, Pisces Dragon), Cameron McVey (3/11/1957, Pisces Rooster) : The musicians are long term collaborators and partners of over 30 years. Commenting on their evolving relationship, Cherry has explained: "I still feel like there’s more to it. I know that we’re not done and that’s really interesting. Gwen Stefani (10/03/1969, Libra Rooster), Blake Shelton (06/18/1976, Gemini Dragon) : The two singers married in 2021. They had both been involved in high-profile marriages to fellow musicians—Stefani to Gavin Rossdale, and Shelton to Miranda Lambert—when they worked together as coaches on The Voice during 2015, and began dating. They have since collaborated on multiple occasions, including the songs, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" (2016), "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" (2017), "Nobody But You" (2020), and "Happy Anywhere" (2020). Shortly before their marriage, Stefani described: "I think there was a lot to consider when you have so many people involved. Describing their relationship, Bullock has commented, "There's a great amount of respect and love. I feel very cared for by Matthew.
