In addition to working together on screen—they have acted together in films including, I Know My Son is Alive (1994), Spacejacked (1997), The Santa Trap (2002), and Mary 4 Mayor (2020)—they also collaborate in real estate ventures, and as at 2017 had "flipped" 23 homes. Bernsen described: "When we first got together, I had just finished renovating my first home, purchased during 'L.A. Law.' Ian Fleming (5/28/1908, Gemini Monkey), Sean Connery (8/25/1930, Virgo Horse) : The author Fleming, creator of the iconic fictional secret agent, James Bond, famously did not approve of actor Sean Connery being cast in the role. Fleming once said: "I wanted Bond to be an extremely dull, uninteresting man to whom things happened." Connery said later, "I never got introduced to Fleming until I was well into the movie but I know he was not happy with me as the choice. What was it he called me, or told somebody? That I was an over-developed stunt man. He never said it to me. When I did eventually meet him he was very interesting, erudite and a snob – a real snob.
