At one time one of the most famous actors in the world, Cary Grant famously retired from acting in 1966, after Jennifer was born, to devote himself to her upbringing. In her book, Good Stuff: A Reminiscence of My Father, Cary Grant, Jennifer describes: "To me, [my father] was like a marvelous painting. All the art historians wish to break down the motives, and the scheme, and so on. I would rather know, as I do, his essence. I believe that at the heart of a person lies passion. Mary Tyler Moore (12/29/1936, Capricorn Rat), Bernadette Peters (2/28/1948, Pisces Rat) : The two actors were close friends before Moore's death in 2017. Together, they co-founded Broadway Barks, an annual dog and cat adoption event benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. About vacationing together, Peters described: "Mary was always the planner. Mary was always the one who would say, ‘We wanna go to the Bahamas, and we're gonna swim with the dolphins.' She was the one that always came up with the ideas and the adventures and things to do. Life was precious to her, and she knew if she kept moving that was healthy for her."

Lewis Hamilton (1/7/1985, Capricorn Rat), Niki Lauda (2/22/1949, Pisces Ox) : The two Formula One world champions became close friends, after Lauda was instrumental in luring Hamilton to drive for his Mercedes team in 2013. Speaking after Lauda's death in 2019, Hamilton described: "I just so miss talking to the dude, I miss his texts, the videos we shared. I still have them. I’ve kept them and still revisit them. Without his support I probably wouldn’t have made the switch to come to this team...That’s what he was best at – support and being real...To have someone talking to the [Formula One] board who understands and empathises how difficult it is to deliver weekend after weekend, when you make a mistake. That is where he was such a great pillar for me...When he took his hat off [in salute to an achievement in the car] or he goes like this [the finger/thumb gesture indicating something very close to a skirting disaster limit], you knew it was real, that you’d really done something. I miss him a lot."

James Earl Jones (1/17/1931, Capricorn Horse), Cecilia Hart (2/19/1948, Pisces Rat) : The two actors were married from 1982 until Hart's death in 2016, and had one child together. Receiving a Lifetime Achievement award at the Tony awards in 2017, Jones said: "I want to thank my wife Ceci for being such a wonderful companion in my life and in my work. And for being the great coproducer of our son Flynn and for being so dazzling on the red carpet."

David Bowie (1/8/1947, Capricorn Dog), Lou Reed (3/2/1942, Pisces Horse) : The two legendary musicians were friends who collaborated multiple times, including when Bowie co-produced (with Mick Ronson) Reed's landmark album, Transformer. Reed described in 2004: "How can I remember my first impression of David Bowie? That’s really… [smiles] Okay… I mean, David and I are friends to this day. He’s very smart and very, very talented, and I met him in New York and thought, ‘This guy would be a fun guy to work with; we could really bring something to the dance.’"

Luke Perry (10/11/1966, Libra Horse), Alexis Arquette (7/28/1969, Leo Rooster) : The actor and actor/activist were friends for over 30 years before Arquette's death in 2016. After Perry died in 2019, Arquette's sister Patricia described: "They were so close. I mean Luke was always there for Alexis all of the time. He loved Alexis to death. Early on, when Luke started having success with Beverly Hills, 90210, there were stories like, 'Luke Perry is gay. He's having a relationship with Alexis Arquette.' And Luke never said it wasn't true. When he was asked about it later, he said, 'Well, to deny that would be saying there is something wrong with it. And there is nothing wrong with that.' So Luke was way ahead of his time."

Kevin Federline (3/21/1978, Aries Horse), Britney Spears (12/2/1981, Sagittarius Rooster) : The musician and former dancer were married from 2004 to 2007 and had two sons together. Federline described in 2008: "I met her at a club in Hollywood, Joseph’s. Our eyes met and that was it. We just hit it off right away...I was madly in love with her. Everything just seemed so right. I didn’t see it as too fast or too slow."

Denzel Washington (12/28/1954, Capricorn Horse), Spike Lee (3/20/1957, Pisces Rooster) : The actor and director have collaborated on four films: Mo' Better Blues (1990), Malcolm X (1992), He Got Game (1998), and Inside Man (2006). Describing Washington's preparation for Malcolm X, Lee said: "There was no pork on his fork and no alcohol. He learnt how to pray in Arabic and he studied the Quran and that's because he is the most intelligent actor on this earth, in my opinion. There are many biopics, but just because you talk and look like the subject, that is only the surface. Denzel knew that his body is a vessel. And if he did the work, that somehow the spirit of Malcom X would come through him. But again, that only came through the work."

Mirka Federer (4/1/1978, Aries Horse), Roger Federer (8/8/1981, Leo Rooster) : The two tennis players met when they both represented Switzerland at the 2000 Olympic Games. They married in 2009 and have two sets of twins together.

Bob Hoskins (10/26/1942, Scorpio Horse), Helen Mirren (7/26/1945, Leo Rooster) : The two celebrated British actors collaborated on the films The Long Good Friday (1981) and Last Orders (2001). Following Hoskins' death in 2014, Mirren described: "Bob was a great actor and an even greater man. Funny, loyal, instinctive, hard working, with that inimitable energy that seemed like a spectacular firework rocket just as it takes off. He was never sexist, when many around at that time, were. I had the honour of watching the creation of one of the most memorable characters of British film. Playing again with him was like playing a duet with a brother I had grown up with, which professionally I had. I personally will miss him very much, London will miss one of her best and most loving sons, and Britain will miss a man to be proud of."
