Phoenix described: "I’m a great believer in people coming into your life, and you into theirs, for a reason. And at a certain point, I think we stopped evolving with each other, stopped progressing, and made a very mature decision to move on, even though there was still a great love there. Carly Simon (6/25/1945, Cancer Rooster), Mike Nichols (11/6/1931, Scorpio Sheep) : The singer/songwriter and film director were friends who collaborated extensively, including on the films Working Girl (1988), Heartburn (1986), and Postcards from the Edge (1990). After Nichols died in 2014, Simon wrote: "[Nichols] was the biggest influence in my adult life. Like a father or older brother to me. Giving me advice and when I didn’t take it, he’d smile the most understanding smile and say: 'You see, I warned you!!!' It was never mean or patronizing. His charm and wit are famous. I saw him so many times in the flesh, just sitting still, not knowing he was being watched. I felt his deep thoughts and observations without knowing what they were specifically."

Joanne Tucker (6/26/1982, Cancer Dog), Adam Driver (11/19/1983, Scorpio Pig) : The two actors were a longtime couple before they married in 2013. As well as acting together several times, they co-founded the organization Arts in the Armed Forces in 2006. Their first child was born in secret, with Driver explaining, "My job is to be a spy — to be in public and live life and have experience. But, when you feel like you’re the focus, it’s really hard to do that." In a monologue on SNL in 2020, Driver said to laughter: "I’m a husband and a father. It’s in that order though. They have also collaborated on multiple occasions, including on the reality TV series, Harry Loves Lisa (2010). They have also co-starred more than 15 times. After announcing their divorce in 2013, Bellucci said, "Vincent and I are separating. Andy Warhol (8/6/1928, Leo Dragon), Lou Reed (3/2/1942, Pisces Horse) : The celebrated artist and musician shared a landmark friendship and collaboration, with Warhol managing Reed's band The Velvet Underground before Reed decided to take the band in a different direction. Reed described: "I loved [Warhol] on sight, he was obviously one of us. He was right. I didn’t know who he was, I wasn’t aware of any of that, amazingly enough. But he was obviously a kindred spirit if ever there was one, and so smart with charisma to spare. But really so smart. And for a quote ‘passive’ guy, he took over everything. In 2017, Flockhart described: "The truth is, I sometimes feel very much older than Harrison. Sometimes, I even say, 'Wow, I keep forgetting that he’s 22 years older than me.' Krall described during the pandemic in 2020: "Being together is very unusual for us, especially in the last few years, because I go on tour, and Elvis is home, then he goes on tour, and I’m home. Dave Stewart (9/9/1952, Virgo Dragon), Annie Lennox (12/25/1954, Capricorn Horse) : The two musicians were romantically involved, then broke up and founded the acclaimed duo Eurythmics around the same time. Stewart described in relation to his memoir, Sweet Dreams Are Made of This: "I know just about every tiny molecule of Annie. I don’t think that should be shared with the world. If I wrote about me and Annie, it would be a completely different book. I can’t think of any other couple that did what we did – to break up and then start a band. Sonny and Cher did it the other way around: They were famous, then they broke up. What we went through was insane."
