Paul McCartney (6/18/1942, Gemini Horse), John Lennon (10/9/1940, Libra Dragon) : As founding members of The Beatles, the two musicians shared a close friendship, and formed perhaps the most famous songwriting partnership in history. In one of his last interviews, months before his assassination in 1980, Lennon described: "Well, you could say that [McCartney] provided a lightness, an optimism, while I would always go for the sadness, the discords, a certain bluesy edge...Paul had a lot of training, could play a lot of instruments. He'd say, 'Well, why don't you change that there? You've done that note 50 times in the song.' You know, I'll grab a note and ram it home. Referring to the play and film Disco Pigs, which he starred in from 1996 to 2001, Murphy described: "That time, making Disco Pigs, was kind of the most important period of my life. The people I met there remain my closest friends...They shaped me in terms of my tastes, in terms of what I wanted to do with my life. And it was around the same time I met my wife. They have two children and share custody of Duff's child from a previous relationship. Duff posted in 2020, "Bubba, thanks for forcing me to go on that walk with you today (last year) I love you so much♥️...I will always choose sandwiches and 8 pm bedtimes over fancy date nights …. over and over again. Laurie Metcalf (6/16/1955, Gemini Sheep), Zoe Perry (9/26/1984, Libra Rat) : The mother and daughter are actors who have also collaborated multiple times, including playing the same character at different ages in the show, Young Sheldon (2017-present). In a joint interview in 2018, Perry described: "For me, just thinking back to the first time we got to share a stage together when we did [The] Other Place [on Broadway, from December 2012 to March 2013] — it was such a lucky experience for me because I know what [Metcalf's] capable of. To get to rehearse with her and experience that side of it with her was just such a treat because she's such a pro and she's also really generous and she's also immensely respectful...I mean, you can't separate your own relationship, but she kind of managed to in a very loving way and I appreciated that." Metcalf said, "I also like the fact that Zoe and I are peers now in what we do...Now I have another peer in the family that I can turn to and get advice from."

Kathleen Turner (6/19/1954, Gemini Horse), Michael Douglas (9/25/1944, Libra Monkey) : The two actors displayed legendary chemistry when they appeared together in the films, Romancing the Stone (1984), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), and The War of the Roses (1989), and later the TV series, The Kominsky Method (2018-2021). In her memoir, Send Yourself Flowers (2008), Turner recalled about making Romancing the Stone: "For a time, I was sure I was falling in love with Michael. And I think he was falling in love with me. I was certainly inspired to portray [the character] Joan’s accelerated sexual awareness by working with Michael...[But] I saw that Michael wasn’t free to pursue another relationship. We couldn’t keep the romance. But we kept our friendship. Michael always says very nice things about me...as well he should. Michael and I did some very challenging scenes together. Carmelo Anthony (5/29/1984, Gemini Rat), Kevin Durant (9/29/1988, Libra Dragon) : The two NBA basketball stars share a close friendship. Durant described in 2016: "[Anthony's] a real bro. That’s my guy. I’ve looked up to Carmelo since I was 15 years old. I wanted to be Carmelo. And once I got the opportunity to hang around him and get to know him a little deeper, coming into the Draft, I asked him for advice here and there and it just made things… it made the relationship even smoother." Anthony has said, "I’ve always heard that, from people back home...I’ve always heard that KD looked up to me. Now, I look at him as my peer. I don’t look at him as a guy who looked up to me. I respect that. It’s just hard, man, to see, to know, for me to fathom the fact that one of the greatest players in the world looks up to me, even now. Pharrell Williams (4/5/1973, Aries Ox), Ariana Grande (6/26/1993, Cancer Rooster) : Musician/producer Williams produced and collaborated on singer/songwriter/actor Grande's Sweetener album. Grande described: "I don’t mix well with people who have crazy egos and right away [Williams] was super fun and chill and nice and there wasn’t any of that. He was more worried about getting to know me and making sure I was comfortable."

Sammy Davis, Jr. (12/8/1925, Sagittarius Ox), Kim Novak (2/13/1933, Aquarius Rooster) : The actor and entertainer reportedly shared an intense but risky romance in the late 1950s. Novak later described: "It was a very dangerous relationship then—a white woman and a black man, no matter his status—it simply didn’t mix publicly. I was suddenly in the eye of a hurricane."

Warren Beatty (3/30/1937, Aries Ox), Diane Keaton (1/5/1946, Capricorn Rooster) : The two actors had a high-profile romance around the making of Red in 1981. Thirty-five years later, Keaton still talks fondly about Beatty: "He is curious about everyone. He is so seductive in that regard. He makes you feel like you are the only one, the person that matters; that you are just absolutely fascinating, you know? And it’s with everyone, across the board. He just has this presence."

James Gandolfini (9/18/1961, Virgo Ox), David Chase (8/22/1945, Leo Rooster) : The actor and film-maker were close friends, who shared an iconic collaboration as the creator and lead actor in the TV series, The Sopranos (1999-2007). In a eulogy at Gandolfini's funeral in 2013, Chase described: "[V]ery early on, we were shooting in that really hot summer in humid New Jersey, and I looked over and you were sitting in an aluminum beach chair with your slacks rolled up to your knees, and black socks and black shoes, and a damp, wet handkerchief on your head...I was filled with love, and I knew then that I was in the right place...It made me so proud of our heritage to see you do that, and when I say that you were my brother, this has a lot to do with that. Woody Harrelson (7/23/1961, Leo Ox), Matthew McConaughey (11/4/1969, Scorpio Rooster) : The two actors have been close friends for decades and have collaborated multiple times, including in Welcome to Hollywood (1998/2000), EDtv (1999), Surfer Dude (2008), and True Detective (2014). Responding to the suggestion that they might in fact be biological brothers, McConaughey said in 2023: "You know, where I start and where [Harrelson] ends, and where he starts and I end, has always been like a murky line. And that’s part of our bromance, right? My kids call him Uncle Woody. His kids call me Uncle Matthew. And you see pictures of us and my family thinks a lot of pictures of him are me. His family thinks a lot of pictures of me are him."

Sissy Spacek (12/25/1949, Capricorn Ox), Jack Fisk (12/19/1945, Sagittarius Rooster) : The actor and production designer/director have been married since 1971 and have two daughters together. Spacek has described: "First we met working together, and throughout the 1970s we just did almost every film together. We really supported one another and we really understood the business. It was what brought us together. And we were passionate about the same things, including movie-making. And that's something that we continue to share."

Naomi Osaka (10/16/1997, Libra Ox), Serena Williams (9/26/1981, Libra Rooster) : The two champion tennis players forged a strong bond after they met in the final of the US Open in 2018, when Williams received three on-court violations, and Osaka was visibly upset after her victory. In the aftermath of the match, Williams wrote an apology to Osaka, saying: "As I said on the court, I am so proud of you and I am truly sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing in sticking up for myself. But I had no idea the media would pit us against each other. I would love the chance to live that moment over again. I am, was, and will always be happy for you and supportive of you...All my love and your fan, Serena." Osaka responded, "People can misunderstand anger for strength because they can’t differentiate between the two. No one has stood up for themselves the way you have and you need to continue trailblazing." The pair have since maintained their supportive relationship, with Osaka saying in 2021: "It’s always an honour playing [Williams]...I was a little kid watching her play, and just to be on the court playing against her for me is a dream."

Kate Beckinsale (7/26/1973, Leo Ox), Pete Davidson (11/16/1993, Scorpio Rooster) : The actor/model and comedian/actor attracted pervasive media attention when they dated in 2019, with Beckinsale being nearly 20 years older. Seemingly referring to the relationship, Beckinsale said at the time: "I’ve never been in this position before — never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not."
