West has spoken of the close bond that developed between them, saying he "loved [Bryant] like a son, I admired his talent." According to West, trash talk was central to their friendship: "We had some unbelievable conversations. I used to tell [Bryant] you foul too much, and you would be out of the game in no time if you are guarding me. I asked him if he's the Black Mamba, and he said yes. Hit-Boy (5/21/1987, Gemini Rabbit), Nas (9/14/1973, Virgo Ox) : Legendary rapper Nas and singer/songwriter/producer/rapper Hit-Boy share a close and collaborative relationship, with Hit-Boy having produced Nas' last four consecutive albums: King's Disease (2020), King's Disease II (2021), Magic (2021), and King's Disease III (2022). Hit-Boy described in 2020: "We were gelling. I had multiple ideas I set to the side: some beats, some hook ideas. [Nas] was open and in a creative zone. He was ready to hear this s—, ready to build on it. Everything I was playing, he’s having his input and we turned it into something....After the first two or three sessions, [we decided to make the whole King's Disease project]. We’re like, 'Nah this s— gotta be an album, everything we’re making sounds crazy.'...[The pandemic] happened, so it gave us time to really dive into it more: make the production better, make the lyrics better. He took his time with certain verses, it turned into this moment." Nas said in 2021, "I try to make my rhymes count. I try to be very intentional with my words. If I’m thinking too into it, too close to the idea, Hit-Boy is good at bringing me back and giving me ideas and moving me into a new direction. It’s a real collaboration."

Amanda Pays (6/6/1959, Gemini Pig), Corbin Bernsen (9/7/1954, Virgo Horse) : The two actors have been married since 1988, and have four children. In addition to working together on screen—they have acted together in films including, I Know My Son is Alive (1994), Spacejacked (1997), The Santa Trap (2002), and Mary 4 Mayor (2020)—they also collaborate in real estate ventures, and as at 2017 had "flipped" 23 homes. Bernsen described: "When we first got together, I had just finished renovating my first home, purchased during 'L.A. Law.' Amanda walked in the door and immediately said, 'Nice, but everything has to go!' She had her own ideas — great ideas — and being so in love and trusting her, I said, 'Have at it!' She deconstructed all that I had just done, and the result was beautiful. To some degree, we’ve both done this 'yielding' with subsequent homes, respecting each other’s vision."

Ian Fleming (5/28/1908, Gemini Monkey), Sean Connery (8/25/1930, Virgo Horse) : The author Fleming, creator of the iconic fictional secret agent, James Bond, famously did not approve of actor Sean Connery being cast in the role. Fleming once said: "I wanted Bond to be an extremely dull, uninteresting man to whom things happened." Connery said later, "I never got introduced to Fleming until I was well into the movie but I know he was not happy with me as the choice. What was it he called me, or told somebody? That I was an over-developed stunt man. He never said it to me. When I did eventually meet him he was very interesting, erudite and a snob – a real snob. But his company was very good for a limited time for me." Fleming eventually warmed to Connery, even giving the character of Bond Scottish ancestry in later books.

Benjamin Millepied (6/10/1977, Gemini Snake), Natalie Portman (6/9/1981, Gemini Rooster) : The actor and dancer met on the set of the film, Black Swan (2010), for which Portman received an Academy Award. They have been married since 2012 and have two children together. Portman has described: "I met my husband on [the set of Black Swan], so I think I was in, like, dreamland … We had a whole, like, he was teaching me to dance. You know, one of those romantic [stories] … It was definitely exciting and fun. It was beautiful. I don't know about instant. It was like I really got to know him and that was when it seemed like, 'Oh this is the person.'"

Elizabeth Hurley (6/10/1965, Gemini Snake), Shane Warne (9/13/1969, Virgo Rooster) : The actor and cricketer were together in the early 2010s and announced a short-lived engagement in 2011. Bob Dylan (5/24/1941, Gemini Snake), Jakob Dylan (12/9/1969, Sagittarius Rooster) : The two musicians are father and son. Wanting to protect the privacy of his legendary father, who in 2016 was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature for his songwriting, Jakob Dylan said little about their relationship until 2005. Then, Jakob described: "When I was a kid, he was a god to me for all the right reasons. Other people have put that tag on him in some otherworldly sense. I say it as any kid who admired his dad and had a great relationship with him. He never missed a single Little League game I had. He's collected every home-run ball I ever hit. And he's still affectionate to me. Maybe he doesn't want people to know that. But I'll tell you, because it's my interview."

Kevin James (4/26/1965, Taurus Snake), Ray Romano (12/21/1957, Sagittarius Rooster) : The two comedian/actors lived together before they each achieved success, and later continued to guest-star on each other's long-running TV shows, Everybody Loves Raymond (1996-2005), and The King of Queens (1998-2007). In a joint interview, Romano said: "We bonded over getting turned down for every audition we went on." James added: "We tried to play a lot of golf, because we didn't have a lot of work."

Kanye West (6/8/1977, Gemini Snake), Jay-Z (12/4/1969, Sagittarius Rooster) : The two rappers are longtime friends who have collaborated on multiple occasions, including the tracks "Otis", "Never Let Me Down", "Izzo (H.O.V.A)", "Diamonds From Sierra Leone (Remix)", "Run This Town", "’03 Bonnie & Clyde", "Clique", "Heart of the City (Ain't No Love)", and "Encore". After a period of disputation after NWA broke up, in 2016 they appeared together on stage for the first time in 27 years. Cube described: "We just went forward. We're gonna always be like that. I don't care if we don't talk to each other for 10 years, when we see each other, it's gonna be like yesterday."

Oprah Winfrey (1/29/1954, Aquarius Snake), Ellen DeGeneres (1/26/1958, Aquarius Rooster) : The two talk show hosts are close friends, who are also neighbours in Montecito, California. In a 2021 interview, Winfrey told Degeneres: "[Y]ou have shared yourself, the expression of your talent, in a way that has made people feel so much better about themselves all these years, that is what you’ve done, Ellen. It’s so much more than the show...Every single person in your audience who has been touched by you, by your laughter, by your jokes, by your kindness, by your sharing, by your being, that’s your legacy." Degeneres replied: "I love you so much, Oprah. I am, as I say all the time, I am so honored to call you a friend. You are the wisest person I know and I just adore you."
