They have long been collaborators and friends, since Eminem signed 50 Cent after hearing his Guess Who's Back mixtape in 2002. In 2014, 50 Cent described: "Hip Hop is Black music, without question, and, unfortunately for some people, it's tough to accept that you have a White artist that does it better than Black artists.
