Paul McCartney (6/18/1942, Gemini Horse), John Lennon (10/9/1940, Libra Dragon) : As founding members of The Beatles, the two musicians shared a close friendship, and formed perhaps the most famous songwriting partnership in history. In one of his last interviews, months before his assassination in 1980, Lennon described: "Well, you could say that [McCartney] provided a lightness, an optimism, while I would always go for the sadness, the discords, a certain bluesy edge...Paul had a lot of training, could play a lot of instruments. He'd say, 'Well, why don't you change that there? You've done that note 50 times in the song.' You know, I'll grab a note and ram it home. Cillian Murphy (5/25/1976, Gemini Dragon), Yvonne McGuinness (10/12/1972, Libra Rat) : The actor and artist have been married since 2004 and have two children together. Referring to the play and film Disco Pigs, which he starred in from 1996 to 2001, Murphy described: "That time, making Disco Pigs, was kind of the most important period of my life. The people I met there remain my closest friends...They shaped me in terms of my tastes, in terms of what I wanted to do with my life. And it was around the same time I met my wife. Matthew Koma (6/2/1987, Gemini Rabbit), Hilary Duff (9/28/1987, Libra Rabbit) : The actor/singer Duff and singer/songwriter Koma have been together since 2016, and married in 2019. They have two children and share custody of Duff's child from a previous relationship. Duff posted in 2020, "Bubba, thanks for forcing me to go on that walk with you today (last year) I love you so much♥️...I will always choose sandwiches and 8 pm bedtimes over fancy date nights …. over and over again. Laurie Metcalf (6/16/1955, Gemini Sheep), Zoe Perry (9/26/1984, Libra Rat) : The mother and daughter are actors who have also collaborated multiple times, including playing the same character at different ages in the show, Young Sheldon (2017-present). In a joint interview in 2018, Perry described: "For me, just thinking back to the first time we got to share a stage together when we did [The] Other Place [on Broadway, from December 2012 to March 2013] — it was such a lucky experience for me because I know what [Metcalf's] capable of. To get to rehearse with her and experience that side of it with her was just such a treat because she's such a pro and she's also really generous and she's also immensely respectful...I mean, you can't separate your own relationship, but she kind of managed to in a very loving way and I appreciated that." Metcalf said, "I also like the fact that Zoe and I are peers now in what we do...Now I have another peer in the family that I can turn to and get advice from."

Kathleen Turner (6/19/1954, Gemini Horse), Michael Douglas (9/25/1944, Libra Monkey) : The two actors displayed legendary chemistry when they appeared together in the films, Romancing the Stone (1984), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), and The War of the Roses (1989), and later the TV series, The Kominsky Method (2018-2021). In her memoir, Send Yourself Flowers (2008), Turner recalled about making Romancing the Stone: "For a time, I was sure I was falling in love with Michael. And I think he was falling in love with me. I was certainly inspired to portray [the character] Joan’s accelerated sexual awareness by working with Michael...[But] I saw that Michael wasn’t free to pursue another relationship. We couldn’t keep the romance. But we kept our friendship. Michael always says very nice things about me...as well he should. Michael and I did some very challenging scenes together. The mutual trust and the emotional connection we’ve always had enabled us to take on whatever hair-raising perils were necessary...Oh, yeah, there’s a little competition. Just a touch. Come on, wimp. Carmelo Anthony (5/29/1984, Gemini Rat), Kevin Durant (9/29/1988, Libra Dragon) : The two NBA basketball stars share a close friendship. Durant described in 2016: "[Anthony's] a real bro. That’s my guy. I’ve looked up to Carmelo since I was 15 years old. I wanted to be Carmelo. And once I got the opportunity to hang around him and get to know him a little deeper, coming into the Draft, I asked him for advice here and there and it just made things… it made the relationship even smoother." Anthony has said, "I’ve always heard that, from people back home...I’ve always heard that KD looked up to me. Now, I look at him as my peer. I don’t look at him as a guy who looked up to me. I respect that. It’s just hard, man, to see, to know, for me to fathom the fact that one of the greatest players in the world looks up to me, even now. It’s crazy — he looks up to me and I respect him and honor him, his game and his work ethic. That’s something that I appreciate about him."

Donna Summer (12/31/1948, Capricorn Rat), Giorgio Moroder (4/26/1940, Taurus Dragon) : The collaboration between singer Summer and producer Moroder during the 1970s and 80s has been credited as a pivotal influence on the history of dance music. Moroder described in 2023, "[Summer and I] were close, even though at the beginning of our relationship, so much of our time was divided, me mostly in Munich and her mostly in America after her success...[I] saw her often, during the last years of her life as she lived in the same building as I did in Los Angeles. We got close again before she died...If she ever believed that I was something of a mentor, that was OK, considering the years that we worked so closely together...I think that our musical relationship was really, really good. She believed in what Pete [Bellotte, Moroder’s longtime songwriting partner] and I were doing, and co-wrote the songs with us, while I did most of the music. She was very much involved. It was less of a singer-producer relationship and more like three guys working on songs together. That camaraderie had much to do with the success of our music."

Jean-Michel Basquiat (12/22/1960, Capricorn Rat), Andy Warhol (8/6/1928, Leo Dragon) : In spite of a 32 year age gap, the two famous artists developed a close and intimate relationship in the art scene of 1980s New York. Warhol described how after one of their first meetings Basquiet created an artwork of the two together: "He went home and within two hours a painting was back, still wet, of him and me together. And I mean, just getting to Christie Street must have taken an hour. He told me his assistant painted it."

Katy Perry (10/25/1984, Scorpio Rat), Orlando Bloom (1/13/1977, Capricorn Dragon) : The singer/songwriter and actor have dated since 2016, been engaged since 2019, and have a daughter together. In an Instagram tribute to Bloom on his 45th birthday in 2022, Perry posted: "Thank you for being a constant compass, an unwavering anchor and bringing joi[e] de vivre into every room you walk in. You are the love and light of my life."

Elsie Hewitt (3/5/1996, Pisces Rat), Benny Blanco (3/8/1988, Pisces Dragon) : The producer and model/actor quarantined together during the Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020. Hewitt and Blanco offered glimpses into their playful and intimate domestic life in a series of YouTube videos Hewitt created showing them preparing and cooking meals together.

John Belushi (1/24/1949, Aquarius Rat), Dan Aykroyd (7/1/1952, Cancer Dragon) : The two actors were long term collaborators, close friends and colleagues who worked together on iconic sets such as Saturday Night Live and The Blues Brothers. Forty years after Belushi's tragic death, Aykroyd commented in an interview, "I think of him every day."

LeBron James (12/30/1984, Capricorn Rat), Kevin Durant (9/29/1988, Libra Dragon) : The two world-famous basketballers jockeyed for position as potentially the best player in the NBA during the early 2020s. Despite their rivalry on court, James and Durant are close friends who are quick to defend each other, especially against media criticism. Durant stated in 2021: "Anything LeBron does, you guys talk about like it is breaking news. He can’t do anything. He has to play every game, he has to average close to a triple-double, he has to be a perfect person, because you will say everything about him."
