Paul McCartney (6/18/1942, Gemini Horse), John Lennon (10/9/1940, Libra Dragon) : As founding members of The Beatles, the two musicians shared a close friendship, and formed perhaps the most famous songwriting partnership in history. In one of his last interviews, months before his assassination in 1980, Lennon described: "Well, you could say that [McCartney] provided a lightness, an optimism, while I would always go for the sadness, the discords, a certain bluesy edge...Paul had a lot of training, could play a lot of instruments. He'd say, 'Well, why don't you change that there? You've done that note 50 times in the song.' You know, I'll grab a note and ram it home. Referring to the play and film Disco Pigs, which he starred in from 1996 to 2001, Murphy described: "That time, making Disco Pigs, was kind of the most important period of my life. They have two children and share custody of Duff's child from a previous relationship. Laurie Metcalf (6/16/1955, Gemini Sheep), Zoe Perry (9/26/1984, Libra Rat) : The mother and daughter are actors who have also collaborated multiple times, including playing the same character at different ages in the show, Young Sheldon (2017-present). In a joint interview in 2018, Perry described: "For me, just thinking back to the first time we got to share a stage together when we did [The] Other Place [on Broadway, from December 2012 to March 2013] — it was such a lucky experience for me because I know what [Metcalf's] capable of. To get to rehearse with her and experience that side of it with her was just such a treat because she's such a pro and she's also really generous and she's also immensely respectful...I mean, you can't separate your own relationship, but she kind of managed to in a very loving way and I appreciated that." Metcalf said, "I also like the fact that Zoe and I are peers now in what we do...Now I have another peer in the family that I can turn to and get advice from."

Kathleen Turner (6/19/1954, Gemini Horse), Michael Douglas (9/25/1944, Libra Monkey) : The two actors displayed legendary chemistry when they appeared together in the films, Romancing the Stone (1984), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), and The War of the Roses (1989), and later the TV series, The Kominsky Method (2018-2021). In her memoir, Send Yourself Flowers (2008), Turner recalled about making Romancing the Stone: "For a time, I was sure I was falling in love with Michael. And I think he was falling in love with me. I was certainly inspired to portray [the character] Joan’s accelerated sexual awareness by working with Michael...[But] I saw that Michael wasn’t free to pursue another relationship. We couldn’t keep the romance. But we kept our friendship. Michael always says very nice things about me...as well he should. Michael and I did some very challenging scenes together. Carmelo Anthony (5/29/1984, Gemini Rat), Kevin Durant (9/29/1988, Libra Dragon) : The two NBA basketball stars share a close friendship. Durant described in 2016: "[Anthony's] a real bro. That’s my guy. I’ve looked up to Carmelo since I was 15 years old. I wanted to be Carmelo. And once I got the opportunity to hang around him and get to know him a little deeper, coming into the Draft, I asked him for advice here and there and it just made things… it made the relationship even smoother." Patrick Swayze (8/18/1952, Leo Dragon), Lisa Niemi (5/26/1956, Gemini Monkey) : Swayze and Niemi were childhood sweethearts who, in spite of Swayze's publicized issues with despair and alcoholism, were married from 1975 until his death in 2009. Niemi has said that, "The first time Buddy [Swayze] and I danced together was at a school exhibition...I looked in his eyes, it was like everything came alive."

Courteney Cox (6/15/1964, Gemini Dragon), Jennifer Aniston (2/11/1969, Aquarius Monkey) : The Friends co-stars developed a close real-life friendship. Aniston, who is godmother to Cox's daughter, has described: "There's absolutely no judgement in Court. You'll never feel scolded. She's extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving. I've slept in her guest bedroom a lot. Without giving away too much of my private stuff, all I can say is she's been there for me through thick and thin."

Emma Stone (11/6/1988, Scorpio Dragon), Ryan Gosling (11/12/1980, Scorpio Monkey) : The two actors share a close friendship, which has produced memorable on-screen chemistry in the films, Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011), Gangsta Squad (2013), and La La Land (2016). Stone has described: "I can't even imagine what my life would be without Ryan. He's so special. It makes me emotional. He's so talented but he's such a great person to work with because he's so collaborative and excited about the process. He's taught me a lot about being really generous." Joseph Campbell (3/26/1904, Aries Dragon), George Lucas (5/14/1944, Taurus Monkey) : The Star Wars director memorably described the mythologist and author of The Hero With a Thousand Faces as "my Yoda", because of Campbell's influence on the story's characterization and structure. The two developed a strong friendship, with Lucas instrumental in developing Campbell's TV series The Power of Myth.

Kirk Douglas (12/9/1916, Sagittarius Dragon), Michael Douglas (9/25/1944, Libra Monkey) : The two actors share one of the most famous father/son relationships in Hollywood history. They appeared together in the film, It Runs in the Family (2003). They faced challenges in their relationship, as when Michael Douglas, as producer, decided against casting his father in the lead role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975). However, Michael's career was strongly influenced by his father.Kirk once said, "I kept telling [Michael] he should play a villain. So finally he did, in Wall Street, and when he did that wonderful, horrible greed speech, I just [beamed]!" When Kirk died at age 103, Michael said: "To the world, he was a legend, an actor from the golden age of movies who lived well into his golden years, a humanitarian whose commitment to justice and the causes he believed in set a standard for all of us to aspire to. But to me and my brothers Joel and Peter he was simply Dad."

Tracy Chapman (3/30/1964, Aries Dragon), Alice Walker (2/9/1944, Aquarius Monkey) : The author and musician had a two-year affair in the 1990s. Asked why they had kept the relationship quiet, Walker said in 2006: "It was quiet to you maybe but that's because you didn't live in our area [laughing]...My life is not to be somebody else's impact - you know what I mean? After Fisher's death in 2016, Aykroyd wrote: "I gave Carrie a sapphire ring and subsequently in the romance she gave me a Donald Roller Wilson oil painting of a monkey in a blue dress next to a tiny floating pencil, which I kept for years until it began to frighten my children...[She] would say things like:...'You have a jawline, hold your chin up otherwise you look like a tuna.'
